Can't quite understand the 5* rating for the Kinder Lodge. It is a town pub, that provides clean but basic accommodation. Room was small for a twin, but adequate. Clean with tea making, and small TV. but not 5*. Breakfast is hearty and service excellent Evening meals not provided but plenty of places to eat nearby(try Pack horse). There is nothing...

I stayed in a triple room, Room number 5 with my kids. The room was pretty basic with a little 14" television. Not many channels. There were basic coffee & tea making facilities. Parking is limited at the hotel, but I certainly got one. They advertised free wifi, but I never got a signal in my room. Wasn't bothered as...

Stayed here just for 1 night. Room was certainly nice enough. Excellent breakfast and everyone we spoke to were very nice and amiable. Great location in the centre of the village. Would certainly stop here again.

We stayed for one night and noticed straight away that the room was cold, heating only comes on at certain times but we did mention it to the landlord and he switched it on for us. The rooms are basic but suit purpose, the cleaning needs to be improved however. On arriving our toilet still had human waste in it...

Located in the picturesque village of Hayfield this country pub ticks all the boxes. Inside it is clean cosy and comfortable and serves home cooked food day and night. It has an outside seating area and accommodation above the bar area. Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated. We look forward to returning in the near future

Typically I don't book b&b`s so I wasn't sure what to expect, but my oh my what a treat! Although we had a small double the room was lovely and comfy, it reminded me of grannies house (not a bad thing) the bed was comfortable, a bit squeaky , but we both had a good night's sleep. Everything was clean...

“There are better accomodation providers in the area. This place caters for the local drunk not the walkers who travel here to enjoy the wonderful climbing at Kinder Scout and Lantern Pike. Would never recommend this place as it is far removed from luxury accomodation.”
