I recently visited Borgo Bastia Creti. Upon arriving I was given a tour of the property by the manager Sonia. I cant say how impressed I was with the property. It is so beautiful and this was a cold, February afternoon. It is hard to imagine how beautiful it would be in the spring with its established garden and old...

I booked the entire place out for my wedding in April and it was so beautiful! Words can't explain how breathtaking it was! The rooms were huge and gorgeous. Sonia was very helpful with anything we needed and the caretakers were lovely and very helpful. The main town is about a 20 minute drive and has a supermarket to buy...

The drive up the mountain is quite a hairy trip- the first time, but you get used to it!! It is well worth the effort as the location is just stunning and the views even more so. We were quite late arriving due to problems with the Italian airport strike and the car hire but we kept in contact with...

There are dozens of places around Umbria and Tuscany that look similar to the Borgo di Bastia Creti. I'm sure many are perfectly fine. But the Borgo Bastia di Creti is different. It is one of our family's favorite, most coveted places anywhere on earth. We have been coming to the Borgo for almost twenty years. We have brought our...

I could not recommend this property more, photos do not do it justice. We stayed here for a week with 19 people for our wedding and it was amazing. I was slightly nervous arriving having booked this from Australia and having only seen photos but it took our breath away. Sonia and Rita were waiting for our arrive and were...

We were recommended Borgo Bastia Creti by friends, and couldn't be more impressed with our stay. It is such a beautiful venue, all of the houses are wonderfully traditional and the courtyard area was the perfect place to gather for evening drinks! We loved having barbeques next to the pool in the evening, especially with the stunning views of the...

Where do we start? Perhaps from the beginning when we first viewed the Borgo and came over from London to meet Sonia! It was a cold wet January and even with hale stones and rain this place captured our hearts! Sonia made our dreams possible by helping us secure our dates and 18 months later we are now newlyweds. We...

Myself and 31 other family members and friends, have just spent 5 days at this stunning property, culminating in a wedding reception for our daughter and now son in law. We have absolutely nothing negative to say! The accommodation is immaculate, the scenery and grounds breathtaking and the staff fantastic! Even the rain wasn't enough to dampen our spirits and...

I stayed at this property for a family wedding, and it was spectacular. It's a true retreat, meaning bring supplies and be prepared to "get away from it" for a while. There were plenty of activities (tennis courts, ping pong, massage) and a beautiful pool overlooking the Tuscan countryside. The location is tough to find, so use googlemaps, otherwise you'll...
