I've visited this place two days ago with my big family. The view around the hotel is very good. On night, I can see twinkling light of yogyakarta. thats view looks almost like "Bukit Bintang" on Bandung. In the morning, the clouds look so close for me. It's a beautiful scenery. The hotel is comfortable, the food was delicious. But...

The last time I visited this hotel when I was still 10 years old, almost 20 years ago! This hotel is known as the best in the era. I spend my Christmas holiday with my wife, and we made some surveys prior deciding which hotel will we stay. When I read the above reviews, I began to doubt for staying...

This large hotel is placed outside the village in the hills. While quite isolated, the view and the air there is great. The rooms was big with balcony overlooking both garden and the lowland. Other side was facing a volcano, also visible from the restaurant. The furniture and equipment were average and WiFi signal was poor and only useful when...

i like this hotel. the view is beautiful and so cold, so you don't have to use conditioning in your room. dont worry about parking, they also have good breakfast. Not far from hotel, you can go to other beautiful places.

5 o us recently did an overland Java tour, spending one night at this hotel. I had read bad reviews beforehand, so was pleasantly surprized to find this hotel very good. Our guide told us it has been recently renovated, it certainly has every modern convenience, and the position/environment is stunning - high, great panorama, clear air and lovely night...

My partner and I, and four other relatives stayed in this hotel for two nights (it was the weekend of the Buddhist Vesak celebration 2013). I can imagine when this hotel was open for the first time (you still can feel the grandeur of this rundown place). The scenery surrounding this big hotel is absolutely magnificent; you really can recharge...

Don’t be fooled by the so called ranking as number one in the area, this hotel should be rated way down the list, cold water showers, dreadful meals, a very small room and it seemed abandoned as we were the only guests. This was the only accommodation on our week in Java could have done without.

I stayed there on August 22nd 2012 for one night, the price is a bit high. The panorama is good and spacious parking area but the room had no airconditioning, the smell was that of a hotel that doesn't freshen up, the breakfast menu were very poor.

The hotel is okay. Yes simple but clean, spacious and the view is spectacular. The food is very local and there is nothing to do in the evening. So don't forget to bring a book or a travel partner that speaks your language.
