I travelled solo at the end of January 2017 to Alicante. I was on a budget whilst travelling so I took the C6 bus to the hotels nearest bus stop, which was Calle San Vicente. I found it very easy to get to and from the Airport and only costs a couple of euros. I arrived at Pension Arena after...

The pension is located at one of the main streets of Alicante, within 5 minutes' walk to tram station (you can take a tram along the whole coast of Costa Blanca, up to Benidorm), 1 minute's walk to a bus stop, 5 minutes' walk to the Old Town and approx. 10 minutes' walk to Postiguet Beach and the promenade. A...

teeny tiny hostal in Alicante, with nice decoration but very old and veeery small. Ok for a night or 2 but I wouldn't recommend for a proper holiday, look for something nearer to the beach for a longer stay!

It is very well located, close to public transport and main city attractions. Receptionists were extremely helpful and friendly and the room was spacious and clean. However, it was a bit noisy and some bath accessories were missing. Nevertheless, I can recommend this hotel without a doubt because my overall experience is very positive.

IMPORTANT - if you cannot manage stairs, then this hotel is NOT for you. Steep stairs from ground floor to reception and onward up. So those with wonky hips/knees need to think again. On the other hand - it is a great value hotel, comfortable, clean, pleasant and helpful staff and brilliantly located to explore the town. Nothing fancy, but...

This pension is in a great central position, near lots of restaurants and within walking distance of all the sights of Alicante. I stayed here for two nights in November and found the room comfortable and clean. There was free tea, coffee and wifi and the staff were helpful. My only negative comment would be that the mattress was a...

I had a nice single, clean, delicate room and great bathroom. Tv, free internet, and a very serviceminded young woman in the reception. In the area there where lots of restaurants, so I did not have to go far to have food, a drink and my cigarette, but I wish I had booked a room with a little balcony instead...

I have spent a week in September in the Arena where I enjoyed my stay. Great value for money for a warm and clean place to call home for the length of your holiday. I travelled solo but have been provided with a lovely double room with a balcony. It was clean and suited my needs to the dot. Comfortable...

I really recommend this small and cosy hotel, situated in the centre of alicante. The rooms and bathrooms are new, well equipped and very clean.there isceven a kettle with tea bags and coffee or camomile before going to sleep! And the prices are uncredibly low (we spent 33 euros for a big coloured double room!)I really recommend this hotel!

The Pension is almost like a studio flat in terms of the independence it offers: guests receive own full set of keys to the building, and have 24 hour access. Staff are lovely, attentive if needed, but not at all intrusive. Guests get to decide if they want room cleaned or not. Decor is modern and simple; room is clean...
