Nice out of the way restaurant. Authentic surroundings. Good service. Food fabulous although could have been hotter. Even picked up a couple of second hand English books. Best meal of the week. Well worth a visit. My friend who is not veggie loved it too.

Lovely food in a nicely decorated venue. We went in a mixed group of vegans and celiacs and meat lovers and were delighted with the array of food. Good tasting chilli, satay and madras, must have! For good value we were able to pick a number of tapas and would recommend this place to any in the future.

As an ardent Vegan, I was super excited to eat at Blooming Cactus. Unfortunately the experience as a whole was a disappointment. The selection was poor, the taste and quality of the food was poor, and I left with nothing but a stomach ache. The falafels were burnt, the curry was runny, and it simply wasn't value for money. Sadly,... More

When I went there I saw outside the lady was smoking. Then the lady came with only two menus! After a while the lady came asking what drink you wanted. I asked for sprite but there no sprite or seven up so I ordered shweppes fizzy lemon which was nice. After 20 minutes the lady asked what you wanted to... More

After searching online for somewhere special to stay in Lanzarote I found what I was hoping for in Blooming Cactus. In Nov 09 I stayed for a few days and found a perfect holiday retreat. The House on the Hill (about 1km from San Bartolome) is set in a beautiful 360 degree panorama with breathtaking landscapes all around. It is... More
