Stayed for a night before heading to New Chitose Airport the next day. Room is just nice for a single person. Able to open my 29” luggage with ease. Hotel wifi was fast and many TV channels as well. However, room smelled of cigarette! Good thing I brought my mini diffuser to keep the room from smelling like a chimney!

Stayed at the Hotel New Oji for a week in November 2016 whilst in Tomakomai for an Ice Hockey tournament. The hotel is modern with good sized rooms. Tomakomai is very light on traffic so noise wasn't an issue. Hotel has a lot of meeting spaces aswell as several restaurants. Food was always good quality and plentiful. Location was good for Tomakomai, being quite central. A walk to the waterfront took around 20 minutes at a leisurely pace. Technology museum was about 15mins away. Train station and Mega Mall were about 5 minutes away and the ice rink was 5 minutes walk. Convenience store was a few mins away and 7-11 was 5 mins away. Ground Floor has a few shops, including a gift shop, and also has some vending/drink machines. Internet in the hotel room was both wired and wireless with a speed of 30-35Mb.

I was in tomakomai , Hokkadoi for the 1st year death anniversary of one of my closest brotherhood and one, person out of the 15th people that i can really call family.MITSUYASU Nakano was one of the top 3 sushi chefs in tokyo and who of Japan if he had not passed on. His sushi was a piece of art from the heart of hearts, His ingredients was the best of best and his prices were much below their value. I did not know that till he passed on. In Japan , U have the snob jiro of ginza , who does not think that anyone that is a forienger can afford his sushi or those 8 seats sushi shops that takes their pride to the top of their egos, Nagano Chan is never like that. He is kind to me from the start, he showed me the correct way to appreciate sashimi & sushi till i became a connoiseuer of the top class for sushi. I dine at every sushi restaurants that U can name. I stayed at the New Oji hotel because it was new. The rooms were nice but so was the price in that area. It was rather expensive. the rooms were clean from the surface but if U watch carefully, they are not too clean. The quality of tea was very very pior , the slippers were repeatly worn and again that same old old water pump pot. Every hotel should get rid of that pot. their saving grace was their break-fast, although a mess, eatable. The gift shop have harsp berries tea. They have an Italian dinning area.free water bottles are saving grace too.

The twin rooms are a good size at 30 sq m. On the other hand, the quad room is the same size as the twin, so that makes the quad a bit of a squeeze. The rooms are clean, although the decor is rather dated. Room keys are still being used, and like some have mentioned, you need to turn on the hot and cold taps to get your desired water temperature -- so overall, these features of the room give the impression of a rather dated hotel. But everything is well maintained and working well. Breakfast is good, The grilled fish is the best we we have had throughout our trip. There are convenient stores and drug stores near the hotel in case you need to stock up on any supplies. There are restaurants in the hotel as well as near the train station, which is about 5 min walk away.

The room is nice and clean, But the bathroom has a little problem with hot water. The water pressure is low and when use want to use warm water you have to mix,the mixer is broken. The dinner was great. Good taste and fresh. Breakfast is also great.

We spent about two weeks in Hokkido and the rooms at the New Oji were the largest we experienced. The room was clean but like so many Japanese hotels the beds and chairs were low. The beds and pillows were on the hard side. Also the ceilings above the bath are quite low. Be careful if you are 6' tall or over. The breakfast was good with an assortment of Japanese and Western choices. Good Wi-Fi.

This is the first hotel we stayed in the first night when we reached Sapporo. Choosing this hotel just for overnight purpose before we start our journey to explore Hokkaido. Overall, the experience with this hotel was pleasant. Location: It is about 40 minutes drive from New Chitose Airport. There are several eateries and a train station nearby. Check-in and -out: Efficient. Both processes were done in about 5 minutes. Room: We booked two rooms. Surprisingly, both rooms and also the washrooms are spacious if compare with Japanese standard. Beds are comfortable and we all slept well (may be we are tired after a long flight). Wifi: In room Wifi works well. Staff: Staff are friendly and efficient. They are with limited proficiency in English. Simple communication in English is not a problem for them. Parking: Chargeable. Paid 300 JPY for overnight parking in parking area besides the hotel building.

I really quite liked this hotel. Very laid back as this quite 'sleepy' town. The rooms were very spacious and the views of the town were nice as the the windows are very large and have good views! Great staff and very accommodating. The buffet is quite big and basic but satisfying. There are a lot of little good restaurants and drinking places nearby to try too to try nearby. I'd love to visit this town again soon and of course, stay at this hotel.

I stayed for one week and enjoyed it. The location is nice, just in the centre of Tomakomai. The hotel has several excellent restaurants. But also around the hotel are lot of restaurants located. The rooms are quiet big for Japanese standard. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Only the ABF is little bit dreary.
