The service at the hotel was not good. There were no transportation from the hotel to pick us up at the airport to take us to the hotel. We had to take a cab which cost $170 U.S. dollars. Upon arriving to the hotel in a cab, our cab driver had to get a trolly from the hotel and load our luggage into it. We had to push the trolly into the hotel ourselves because there were no one to do it. As we were checking in, I asked the lady who was checking us in , if there was someone to push the trolly to our room, in a snooty way she replied no and top it off with a fake smile. She must have over heard our conversation about the services at the hotel because towards the end of our interaction with her she point to the guy who entered the reception area and told us he will help us with our luggage. At that point we were too disgusted with the whole situation and her attitude to respond. They served American breakfast instead of Puerto Rican breakfast. We ate at the hotel restaurant the morning after we arrived and the eggs were watered down and nasty. We never ate there for the remainder of our stay at the hotel. A total waste of our money. The rooms were nice but were not cleaned properly. One of the beds, the linens were stained. The tiles in the shower were dirty and so was the shower curtain. They replace the towels every morning but don’t clean the room. There is a coffee maker and packet of coffees but no bottled water to make the coffee or to drink when relaxing in the room. Not even cold beverages in the refrigerator to enjoy at your leisure. There were no entertainment at night. The bar inside the hotel lobby were closed including the bar at the pool. I stayed a week at the hotel and I only saw both bars open once so disappointing. The casino barely had anyone in it. A small group of people visited the casino. At night the hotel is like a ghost town. No live entertainment except for by one of the pools which closes at 8 & the other one closes at 10. After that you disburse to your room or go off site to enjoy yourself. The big pool were dirty . It had slimy things in the water and things floating in it. The staff at the reception desk were not pleasant especially Erika. Gesy (Jesse as I called her) was amazing. She helped us find activities to do outside the hotel and gave us feedback on places to enjoy a good PR meal. She even looked into a rental for us which we end up getting because taking a cab to and from the hotel to go places were eating up all our spending money. Despite the bad vibes from some of the staff, lack of activities at the hotel, Gesy(Jesse) were the highlight of our trip and made our time in PR a whole lot more enjoyable. The hotel itself is nice and the grounds are kept decent. The rooms does not have any balcony or view to look at. The hotel has potential to be great but the owner need to upgrade the entire scenery and adding more entertainment than just the casino and pool.. A regular open bar and live entertainments are a great way to start.

First of all, I want to stress how clean the rooms were. Everything was spotless. The beds were also very comfortable. We were there over memorial day weekend and it was packed. They were strict on enforcing Covid restrictions inside the hotel but there were so many people on the patio and in the pool that serious mitigation efforts would have been impossible. I think they were a little bit overwhelmed with the amount of people that showed up and we’re not necessarily prepared. They ran out of towels. We were grateful to have a hotel with breakfast but don’t set your expectations too high! There usually was some kind of fried potato, meat, pancakes or French toast, and then some kind of hot cereal. The oatmeal cooked in coconut milk was especially delicious. Unfortunately though there was no fresh fruit and the coffee tasted awful! That was especially sad because I had heard such great reviews about Puerto Rican coffee! Still though, the Internet was fast and the kids were happy in the pool. Happy kids equals happy parents! If we were in this area again, I do believe he would go back. One sec though, if you are traveling with a family and want connecting rooms, make sure you request them in advance. Although the hotel has many connecting rooms, they did not put us in connecting rooms even though it was clear our reservation was one family.

We regularly stay at the hotel twice a year. The staff is very friendly and the amenities are very good. However on our recent stay the floor was not vacuum and there was a big spot in one of the blankets. I informed the from desk and they were very receptive.
