A wonderful little guesthouse in a sweet village. The hosts are a fab couple who were just so lovely, friendly and keen to help with anything. A wonderful spot to totally engulf yourself in the French surroundings. The rooms were beautifully decorated with big comfortable beds, I had a bathroom with a bath in mine and my dad had a...

Me and my girlfriend had 3 amazing days in the beautiful Chambre d'hote, run by Michel and Pascal. They are flexible and helpful and really kind. We were asked when we wanted to have breakfast. 10 am was ok, but we were 15 to 30 minutes late every day (oops.. Sorry guys!), but it wasn't a problem at all. We...

The building is a 300 year old rambling town house. High ceilings, antique wallpapers, double doors to all rooms etc. No air con but cool enough in June. Mozzy nets on windows so could let the breeze in. Friendly helpful host. Fantastic garden where you can drink inexpensive wine or take breakfast. Not the Ritz but we had a comfortable...

A great value Chambre D'hote - the welcome could have been a little warmer and I echo a previous review - I cannot understand why the hall/foyer must be plunged in perpetual darkness and also why the strangely laid out bathroom must have an entrance so low you smack your head every time you go in, but the property is...

We had a two night stay at Maison du Parc,a B&B that evokes a charming French village style. Our hosts Pascal and Michel went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, and the evening meals were excellent,aperitif..three courses, good wine and coffee in a lovely setting in the garden under a large tree...definitely stay again

We stayed two nights at la Maison du Parc. The welcome was friendly, even we called pretty late on the day. Our room had antique furniture and we felt like in ancient time :) Pascal served self baked candies for breakfast, beneath bread and different homemade jams! The very best was the dinner we had in this bed and breakfast:...

I have to agree with the previous reviewer in general. We had a very uncomfortable night here. A not particularly friendly greeting awaited us on our arrival. We were shown our room, given a key and that was that, no other information or conversation was forthcoming. It may be that, had we been staying for longer, the welcome from mine...

As much as the previous reviews sounded great, it simply didn't match our own experience. If the baroque style is nice, it shouldn't feel either dusty or inconvenient and that is exactly the feeling we got out of this place. For example, beds look old and nice but feel uncomfortable to sleep in (had my head and feet touching both...

There are not many places to stay in and around Saint-Chinian but, based on our stay in June, we would have no hesitation in recommending the Maison du Parc - even if there were other alternatives. Michel & Pascal have restored their old house in a manner which is most sympathetic to its period and location. The rooms are roomy,...

Michel and Pascal have a most charming B&B in a region that is very attractive for nature and wine lovers ... their house, built in the 19th century,  stands in the centre of Saint-Chinian, a little village well located to make small day trips to Roquebrun, Minerve, Carcassonne or Beziers (to name just a few) ... the couple renovated the...
