We booked a pet friendly lodge (number 255) at Sandy balls for 4 nights. Even though it rained a good part of the break we were very cosy in the lodge as the central heating kept us nice and warm. We took our 11 month old Cavapoochon who loved it, so many walks and a dog friendly pub just up...

We often stay here, about 3 times a year. Lovely place, but we found out last week the regular entertainment has been binned. We particularly enjoyed the quiz on Wednesdays. However we find out that the regular guy, who always had someone helping him, has suddenly been replaced. We have been to both, certainly the new way is no comparison....

We stayed in a comfort caravan at sandy balls for a long weekend. The caravan was well equipped, cosy and comfortable. We found the staff at the park friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is a good size, was clean and was never too busy. We would recommend hiring the on site bikes as the local area is beautiful and...

Rented 3 premium plus lodges for our family to stay and celebrate a special birthday. We dined in the Forest Table and lunched at the Woodside Inn, we walked through the woods and swam in the indoor pool. Our grandchildren loved exploring the site and playing in the park, they also enjoyed a treasure hunt and building a den in...

Great stay, amazing site, great facilities in a wonderful location. Lovely bar and restaurant area. An off season break in the campervan. Excellent value at that time of year. Forgot to write e review after this trip this time last year but were talking about it and I thought we should give this place a decent review. The shower and...

Stayed over a long weekend. Fantastic setting and a nice warm, clean and tidy lodge. Lots to do on site. Archery and swimming were good although the changing rooms in the pool could be abit cleaner. Lovely walk around the forest too. 2 restaurants on site both with great food. The Forest table definitely the better of the 2 as we...

Fab 3 days away in a beautiful setting! Chilled. Would def recommend to family and friend. Weather wasn't that great but that didn't spoil it for us!! Went to some lovely places to eat nearby!! Loved the wild life, roaming of horses everywhere! Dears outside our lodge morning and night which was lovely to see.

This was our third camping trip to Sandy Balls and our first in the winter. No matter the weather, there was lots to do from visiting the spa for a pedicure or enjoying a dip in the jacuzzi when it rained to rambling through he woods and exploring the River Avon when it was dry. We took our pushbikes and...

We had a pleasant stay, we did think the Touring vans were sat on top of each other and it felt quite claustrophobic. The showers were clean, hot and plenty of pressure behind the water....however a few tips for anyone using the showers in the future are as follows. Before stripping off do check the shower button works but try...
