This is a great place when coming from Arequipa, with hot shower, clean rooms, and good restaurant. We did the 3 hours afternoon hike, finishing at the hot spring, excellent. If you are on the way to the condor vista, this friendly hotel is in Yankee area which is nicer than Chivay,

This is a great place if you don't expect the pampering of the other luxury hotels in the area. The beds were comfy, the shower was hot, and everything was very clean. We especially enjoyed the common area and restaurant. The owners' kids were really sweet with our younger kids; even including us in the youngest birthday party. The French...

A gem found on an otherwise poor 2 day 1 night tour from Puno to Arequipa. This was our overnight lodging. Wish we had found it by ourselves! Owner Emmanuel greeted us upon arrival, offered some cool activities, but we were tired. Nice supper onsite as it is a bit out of town, breakfast was also nice (included). Place is...

When we arrived the owner explained the hotel to us and quoted the price, 150 soles for a double room which was ok. Breakfast was excellent and served in the cosy dining - room. As we had our own transport with us we really appreciated the secure parking with no extra charge. As a resumee we were satisfied with our...

We paid a $20 cancellation fee at a nearby hotel just so we could switch to this hotel based on the activities and reviews! We were so looking forward to our stay but almost immediately things went downhill. I've written in detail what happened but the short version is tbis: An overrated small hotel whose main attractions are easily found...

We loved our impeccably clean and spacious room. There was plenty of hot water for showers, which we keep short due to water shortages in the desert - but still, it is nice when they are hot. The breakfast was tasty. Warm bread provided in traditional pottery pots was a treat. We had an excellent dinner then enjoyed Emmanuel's talk...

The hotel is located just outside the town of Yanke, by the main route to Cruz del condor, the place is small and the service is very personal, the staff is magnificent and we loved every minute there. The rooms are good but like most places in colca a bit on basic side, very well decorated and with views to...

Based a five minute walk from the centre it's location is great. We also walked to the hot springs which took about 20-30 minutes. The rooms themselves are basic but comfortable and the same with the bathroom. The restaurant and the rest of the facilities were absolutely fine and much better than the rooms. Both dinner and breakfast were good...

I loved the observatory and the chance to look at the stars in such a remote place. Dinner was very good and you can watch the chefs in their open kitchen. Three course meal is well worth it. Owner is involved with all aspects of the place, even taking people out for walks in the afternoon.

It's not cheap to stay here but you can pretty much see why. It's a beautifully kept place with gardens, a sun patio, free use of a swimming pool and billiard table. The rooms are spacious, immaculate, with great en-suites (they even have hot running water in the hand basins!). The breakfast buffet is substantial and there is free coca...
