Beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and warm welcoming staff. Great value for money. Delicious breakfast with homemade cakes and traditional tomatoes on toast. Next time we are in the area we will definitely return. Thank you for taking me to the dentist!

Property's Favourite Review
Stayed here unexpectedly as we had to replan our route back to the North of Spain due to Covid restrictions. So pleased we visited Consuegra and so pleased we stqyed here. Consuegra is delightful and the windmills are just a pleasure to see.. The previous review was spot on but I have to say that the gentlemen looked after us extremely well and we felt everything was super clean and Covid was really respected and they did what they could to make us feel as safe as possible. Our room was delightrul and the bed was a good size. Breakfast was different due to Covid , it was all left in the fridge for us (we were the only guests that night - Covid has hit all these places really hard), Would not hesitate to recommend this place it was lovely

Consuegra is a small town, not very touristy, but it does have one of Spain’s most iconic sights on its doorstep. So – if, like us, you are visiting in order to see Don Quixote’s Windmills, El Patio de Los Jazmines is a very nice place to stay. You can park right outside the door on the street for no charge. We stayed one night, in order to visit the aforementioned windmills on our way from Madrid to the Costa del Sol. The converted house is situated on a side street in the middle of a residential area, but from the end of the street, is a very good view of the mills, and they are literally five minutes’ drive away (free parking when you get there). The house itself is exquisitely converted; you can feel the love and care that has gone into making it a top-notch B&B. The public areas look almost too nice to touch! We had booked several months in advance and were met by a very pleasant gentleman, whose name we never learnt, who (luckily for us, as our Spanish is decidedly limited) translated everything into English via Google translate on his phone. In this way, we were given a conducted tour of the house. There is a large separate suite at the end of the courtyard, and a small pool in the outdoor area. The rest of the rooms are in the main house. We were shown to our room (forget the name of it, sorry – it was the one with the bed with the brass bedstead), and this was spotless and compact, though it did have French windows, which opened out onto the area at the top of the outdoor stairs. We could’ve sat out here if we’d had time. The bed was perhaps the smallest we had in our tour of Spain. Not even a queen bed, but it was comfortable apart from the memory foam pillows. No bath, but lovely bathroom with walk-in shower. Completely quiet at night with no passing traffic or barking dogs. Breakfast is a little different. Farmhouse style, with guests sitting at the farmhouse table together. Our fellow guests were French, so conversation was a little stilted. There is the opportunity to help yourselves to cereals and fruit and homemade cakes. The layered yogurts were delicious! I should imagine that most of this B&B’s custom comes from one-night stays of travellers ‘passing through’, but if that’s what you’re doing, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it as a place to overnight. Bargain luxury at 70 Euros a night!

It's what we'd call a Boutique Hotel and with no experience of Boutique hotels in the middle of nowhere (only cities) or 'Casa Rurals' I cannot give it 5* because I simply don't know or have anything to compare it with. That's our only negative comment. It's as central as it gets and the proprietors kindly let us park our touring motorcycle in their yard. Thank you. Our room was small and lacking a suitcase stand but, again, perhaps rooms are small in Casa Rurals? I don't know. Bathroom impeccable. Terrace with steps to the yard (and breakfast.) We slept the sleep of the dead in a comfortable room in a comfortable bed on a great mattress in a silent surrounding. The place - the entire place from top to bottom and front to back - is immaculate. Whatever one might find against it has to be negated by the newness, cleanliness and airyness of this totally refurbished old block to block town house ensemble. The owners - his wife is drop-dead gorgeous - were absolutely there to please and make welcome, using a telephone app. to communicate with us in English. We insisted that they do not prepare breakfast for us because we had to press on but despite this the husband did so and we thoroughly enjoyed it, sitting at a little table (see pic.) outside the dining room (see pic.) with its long table. A very nice and clean as you like place and if we ever make the journey from Denia to Vigo again we'd stay again (if permitted). I do like the look of the big room with rafters. Have to book next time.
