We stayed here for 3 nights. Very convenient as we took Keisei Skylinear from Narita so just under 10 mins walk we are in. Rather unconscious building except for the blue-labeled “Mystay”. It is equally close to JR Nippori so moving about is good.

That depends if they have a room available at that time or not. It's a small building. But I reckon it's strictly check in time because in Japan, everything is on time and pretty strict. However, you could park up bags at the "lobby" and go for lunch or something then head back and check in.
