This hotel is amazing. My single room is spacious and I have everything I need. They let you borrow adapters in the reception, and are very helpful in general. The rooms are clean, bathroom is great. It's close to the University of Tokyo, which is were we are during the day. I'm very happy.
This small hotel is conveniently located next to University of Tokyo. It is tucked away in a back alley and even with Google maps I walked around the block before locating it. The rooms are clean and functional, and it is reasonably priced. Breakfast is average.
Conveniently located near Tokyo University in a quiet neighborhood. The staff were very efficient and polite. Breakfast was a good mix of western and Japanese dishes. The room was spacious with Japanese style bathroom.
I stayed 3 nights in a single room with breakfast included. Located in a quiet area very close to Tokyo University, this hotel seems to be the best choice if you have meetings or conferences at Tokyo University. Otherwise, however, I would not highly recommend this hotel. You can find a lot of far better places in Tokyo for this price. The staff were not so nice, though not rude. I did not see smile on most of the employees except those at the reception. They looked tired and avoided eye contact with the guests. There was no bottled water for the guests in the room. There was no laundry machine, though they had laundry services. The buffet style breakfast, both Japanese and Western, was OK, but the menu was exactly the same for the 3 days I stayed. For me, this hotel appear to offer minimum (passable) services for everything.…
For a business trip to Tokyo university, it's a most convenient location in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood off a busy street. The atmosphere is almost solemn (due to the academic clientele?), the Japanese and Continental options for breakfast were good (home made jams were a nice surprise). The place is very clean, but don't expect breathtaking views from the windows. The service is polite but there is no proverbial Japanese welcoming greetings.
