That’s the best value/comfort deal you can get around this area. With almost 24hrs-open public ofuro; resting area with comfy chairs, free night ramen, free coffee, drinks, etc. Will stay there again for sure!
My husband and I visit Japan a lot and Dormy Inn is our favourite chain because of their Japanese-style public baths. It's a great amenity to have every day, and it doesn't disappoint. This hotel is not the best Dormy Inn I've tried. One night during our week-long stay our room somehow got skipped for housekeeping, and a few of the amenities you get at a Dormy Inn Premium just aren't present. But aside from that one housekeeping glitch, everything was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The location is great for a vacation. Four subway lines are at your door, and the Tokyo Dome amusement park complex across the street is great for kids.
Location is close to the metro station but the two closest exits to the hotel don’t have elevators/escalators. Either look for that exit with the elevator/escalator or be prepared to carry your luggage all the way up 5 flights of stairs. But with that aside, this branch seems like a combination of the regular Dormy Inn Hotel and their capsule hotel line, Global Cabin. I got the private capsule in the women’s section. Like most Japanese hotels, they provide the common necessities: bath/face towels, pajamas which you can wear around the hotel, and bathing/hygienic supplies so there is no need to bring those necessities. They also have little extra necessities included which I really appreciated such as hair ties and free use of washing machine and Y100/20min for the dryer. They also serve a free bowl of ramen starting at 9:30pm to 11pm. Free flowing coffee is available every time at the lobby or the restaurant. Their onsen was wonderful. It’s located at the same floor as the restaurant. Breakfast was not included in my deal but I availed it at the hotel and it was wonderful.…
Dormy Inn Korakuen - The staff was nice and very helpful. I enjoyed the daily breakfast. It was delicious. I also enjoyed the daily bath and sauna. I wished they had a "rotenburo". outside bath. Oh well. The only drawback was if one does a lot of shopping, the Kasuga/Korakuen train station has so many stairs. With heavy bags, it's a real challenge. Close to Tokyo Dome but at least 30 minutes from other major attractions
The hotel located not in city where nearby Dome shopping complex. Although just need 5 minutes walking distance to train station but this station is not in main train line so that have to transit many station only reach to destination. But the room is big and new compare to other branch of Dormy Inn. The hotel hot spring just a hot water and not a spring water. This hotel have cabin provide so that for those solo traveller and budget traveller is a good selection
