I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past 20 years and it combines excellent location, beautiful gardens, wide array of restaurants and excellent service. The rooms, however, in both the main building and the Garden Court building are a bit small and a little dated would be my only complaint. Still, it is an oasis...

I have stayed at the New Otani for years and this was a nice stay. I'm a member of the New Otani Club and suggest those who visit frequently to join for a faster check in and other benefits. The Main was a great stay. Great room and great Shiseido bathroom amenities. If you love to work out, well, welcome...

Seriously in need of a refurbishment ~ seems there have been no changes since the days of Tiger Tanaka. Stayed in the garden tower which is newer apparently. The room was a good size and the bed was great. However the bathroom still had that plastic Japanese hotel kit feel about it and the carpet had seen much better days....

We recently stayed at this hotel when we were all in Tokyo and were very pleased. We live in the USA and travelled with our three kids (5, 8 and 11 yrs old). Toshi, the very polite manager, noted that we were booked to stay in the hotel for seven nights. He took the initiative and contacted us, and asked...

My third time staying at New Otani. Staff are very friendly and helpful hotel has a a lrge choice of eating places and bars. Eating is not cheap by any means but after a long flight with jet lag you dont need to go outside of the hotel. Stay in the Main nice bedroom with king size bed, tooth brush,...

A very big hotel but well kept with an outstanding service (as almost everywhere in Japan). A special remark about the position which is the simply perfect: very central and close to many attractions like restaurants and bars, but at the same time very quiet thanks to the beutiful garden surrounding the Hotel. Dont miss to pay a visit to...

The New Otani is not dripping with over-the-top luxurious appointments, but you'll be more than comfortable in the spare, relatively large (for Japan) well-thought out rooms. Its hard to describe, but the fixtures, lighting, deep bathtubs are perfect for recovering from a long flight or day of business. With lots of competition in Tokyo, the New Otani especially excels at...

I hope the title does not offend. We had an excellend stay at the New Otani Tokyo, as part of our 12 day trip to Japan. As an American (standing at 6'4"), I was really worried about the accomodations, and it was especially important as we were travelling with an elderly and an infant. We wanted adjoining, and smoke free...
