This is the second time I have stayed with a Sakura hotel. This time I came with two friends at the start of December for 4 nights. It was conveniently located a 2 min walk from Jimbocho Station and a convenience store was just up the road. Jimbocho is known as the used book district so it is makes an...

Convinient location. Very near to subway station. Best to take a cab from Tokyo station if you have a lot of luggage The staff were friendly, the bathrooms and the room were all very clean, and the ammenities (robe, bath towel, and free shampoo/body wash) were nice. The internet service is fast and good, and myself and my fellow vegan...

Stayed in the hostel for four nights in a dorm room and one night in a private room. I had to move to a private room for one night as I booked rather late (three weeks before my trip) and there were no dorms available that night. The staff were very helpful though and kept in touch via email, updating...

Very basic and affordable hostel if you want to have a safe friendly bed and breakfast option in Tokyo. We had 2 bunk beds (super-soft dawn duvets) in our room for the family of 4, powerful showers on the same floor and several toilets, wash basins, laundry, bar and reception. All facilities are available 24/7. Linen changed daily with clean...

The staff were amazing and very helpful which was much appreciated as this was my first stop in Japan. The facility is clean and the twin private room on the main floor was great. The only suggestion for improvement that I have is the ladder on the bunk bed to have flat steps instead. The small round steps are hard...

Thank you for staying at our hotel and warm comment. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel. In order that our guests stay more comfortably including the step matter of bunk beds, we would like to make more efforts (some of steps have already been renewed to the flat steps type as you mentioned)....

Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses.
