This is not what I’ve expected. The room is large and they serve a delicious breakfast! The downside is that you need to take the train to go to Ginza. But the location has so many restaurants to choose from. Tokyo station is just 15 minutes taxi drive and Haneda airport is 45 minutes.
This area is not as lively as Shinjuku area were we stayed a few nights ago but there are some decent restaurants not to far from here. The breakfast is very good. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We would recommend staying at this hotel.
Great location, away from the centre of the city. close to some nice restaurants and to the transport network. Small rooms but they all are in Japan. Staff were welcoming and very helpful and spoke English. Would recommend
We had 3 nights in this very comfortable hotel. Room size decent- smaller than royal park in Yokohama bigger than shiba park hotel Tokyo. Forceful shower over bath, beds firm, staff very attentive and respectful. Breakfasts very good but I didn't appreciate the wait to get seated each morning. And the TV had only CNN which has to be the worst world news service ever. Please get BBC world news. Reasonable option to use lidobashi tube to Tokyo station then narita Express but watch out for getting lost in Tokyo station.
I really liked the hotel. The room was very comfortable, super clean, super quiet. I only had the breakfast one morning. It was good. There are lots of places to eat nearby and several convenience stores (Lawson and 7-11) and a Starbucks close by. The hotel is between two subway stations and is easy to find. I used Apple maps and you can easily find from the airports in Tokyo to the hotel via subway. The staff was great and the room was super cleaned each day.
The staff at the hotel in this lovely quiet location of the city are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We had help with our bags at check in and were helped with any location/[planning questions. The breakfast at this hotel was one of my favorite parts of staying here! The rooms are very quiet and comfortable. Small of course but this is the city. Subway station just 7/8 minute walk and nice small restaurants within walking distance. would recommend and stay again!
Great location, decor, very clean. best value. we checked into many hotels in Japan during out 9 night trip, this was the best modern hotel. We would love to go back again and again to this hotel. also pretty close to 2 JR stations so if you have JR pass the entire Tokyo metro area is on your fingertips. free disney shuttles were also a plus. food options were also quite plentiful, from conveni food to a high end Japanese restaurant with an upscale sushi bar.
This is the first hotel we stayed in on our visit to Japan (From the UK) & the staff could not have been more friendly & welcoming to us. Many staff speak good English and will really go out of their way to help you. Although we found the rooms small, we understand this is common in Tokyo. The room was clean and very comfortable with an excellent bathroom. Many amenities were provided free of charge and the room had a very good hairdryer. The Disney shuttle is easy to book online before arriving at the hotel & ran very smoothly. Iidabashi and Suidibashi stations were a 5 minute walk away and there are several food options within easy reach. We’d definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
Was part of a travel group and this is our last stop and we stayed 2 nights here. The rooms are huge (by Japan city hotel standards) and breakfast was so orderly and restaurant space adequate for the guests. It is within walking distance to the nearest subway line (red?) and going to town is easy. I will come back to this hotel!!
We stayed 2 adults, 2 teens in a decent-sized room for 7 nights. The location was great - near two metro/train stops - and you could be anywhere within the city in under an hour. It was close to two different neighborhoods with lots of choice for food (albeit Japanese cuisine - sushi, ramen, soba, etc) and much of it surprisingly affordable. There is a Starbucks, if that is your thing, just outside the rear entrance to the hotel. Outside the elevators is also a bakery - a bit pricey but good for bread in the morning for a quick breakfast. The room's air conditioner, which was criticized in other recent reviews, worked fine or has been fixed. It was necessary during our stay (±35C!) One nice feature of the room is that the curtains' rails have been designed so the 2 curtains overlap when closed (instead of, as most closed curtains do, leaving a few centimeters and allowing morning sun to creep in). Sure, it's a small thing, but it enabled the room to stay dark even in the early morning light. Good for recovering from a long flight. The hotel lobby did have a currency exchange machine. I'm not sure how competitive the rate was (Euros to Yen), but it is nice to have the flexibility to get money when needed. Note that it was out of order for 1/2 of the week we were there. I suspect these things great down often as the same input slots must accept dirty bill denominations from many countries. There is also an ATM in the minimart (Lawsons) near the hotel elevators.…
