When searching for a typical tourist hotel in Tokyo, with land at a premium, the main theme for a room is 'small'. Not so at the New Otani. Travelling with our daughter we booked 2 rooms and were given a suite, located on one corner of the building, with views in two directions. Some reviews refer to rooms as dated,...

The New Otani Hotel is one of the older landmarks in the hotel scene of Tokyo. Compared to the new modern stars of Tokyo's vibrant and top class hotel scenery, it can't compete with the amenities of the newer and more fashionable hotels of the big international chains. It's location close to the thriving Akasaka district and in the proximity...

Located in the plush neighborhood of Akasaka, Hotel New Otani is a significant statement in Tokyo's high end hotels. The view from their restaurant (Garden Lounge) is to die for. Just take a walk in their Japanese garden (yes, there's a big one inside the hotel) and it'll make your day. The rooms are tastefully decored, and while the hospitality...

Stayed here for a week in December, 2016 for a business trip. The room was clean and comfortable, if a bit dated, and the bed was very comfortable for a hotel bed. The breakfast buffet was excellent, but expensive. However this hotel complex is very large with multiple attached malls, and there was both a coffee shop and a Japanese...

It is cold in Tokyo & I am warm & cozy inside this excellent property which sprawls a great area. It ticks all the right boxes for me. It has shopping,a Japanese garden & restaurants too. To sum it up I recommend this place.

We stayed 4 nights in a triple room. This hotel is extremely large. The garden are beautiful and definitely the highlight of the hotel. Check in was efficient and friendly. Room was spacious for Japanese standard. Everything was functional and clean but dated. This hotel is in the business area and is close of the underground. There is a swimming...

Huge hotel, still the real Japan. Well located in Tokyo. Rooms (I had again a corner room) are good, well issolated and very decent beds. Restaurants are good, breakfast can be somewhat messy (40th floor). What really surprises me is that in ordet to take a swim in The SPa you need to pay 50 USD (5000 yen) as you...

The new Otani Garden Tower hotel is a typical well managed business hotel. For Tokyo perspectives the rooms are really huge, furniture design is rather old and could do refresh, but rooms are clean and tidy. Hotel features several restaurants and bars which are even for Tokyo style rather overpriced. Breakfast at tower restaurant might feature view on Mount Fuji...

This hotel has the best service. From the time we stepped off the shuttle staff was there to assist with luggage and to direct you to registration. Every staff I met was very professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, in walking distance to two subway lines, stores, restaurants and Sophia University. The area is scenic...
