Stayed there for 3 nights during the final leg of our most recent Japan holiday. Had chose the hotel on recommendation of a friend who raved about the location and the indoor pool. What I liked: a) Location - my friend is right. Location is superb. From B2 of the hotel, there is a direct passageway to the Hibiya subway... More

I just got back from a stay in the Peninsula Tokyo, this was my third visit to Tokyo and first time stay. I can't tell you how amazing everything about our stay was. We have found our hotel in Tokyo. (Stayed in the Palace Hotel and Ritz Carlton previously.) My boyfriend visits Tokyo for work regularly so we have vowed... More

Take a rest with a high tea at penninsula hotel. See the elegantly dressed taking high tea on a sunday afternoon.great ambience with timber structure interior in lobby where afternoon high tea is served.good coffee inspite of it being high tea. Service was excellent. Cakes yummy. The bellgirls aka bellhops at the front door push a mean door!

We stayed at Peninsula Tokyo last week before we fly back to USA. The front door service is a bit messy. When we arrived in taxi, seems people working in the front door of the hotel are confused if they need to help us with bags. And one guy just opened our taxi door, and stand there looking at his... I stayed here for 3 nights with my husband. We booked a superior room. The room was very very spacious, with a big walk in closet / dressing room area, big bathroom with double sinks.. Not side by side, but actually on different sides of the big bathroom so we didn't need to fight over countertop space to spread out... More

I stay at peninsula Tokyo quite a few times and I quite like it. The location is the key advantage of the hotel, just right behind marunochi and a step away from Ginza. The guest room is super spacious! I love it. Only one thing that I don't like about this hotel is the breakfast area because it's right there... More

Why choose the Peninsula for your Tokyo trip? The staff are amazing; the rooms are enormous for Tokyo; the views are magnificent; and the location is second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

The Peninsula Tokyo is known for its extraordinary rooms (spacious, top of the line technology, luxurious, amenities) and stellar location, in the heart of Ginza. However, its their Concierge staff which puts it heads above its competitors. Akin Tanaka knows all of Tokyo's little secrets and gems -- covering both high and low and exceeding our expectations.

Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
