Small, but clean rooms, decorated in a minimalistic Japanese vibe; a very nice (albeit small) bathroom, in stylish black. Quiet too, it's on a side street in Ginza that pretty much "closes" for the night. If I remember right, there were at least two 24h convenience stores right across the street, as well as some very touristy restaurants. Location-wise, there...

Hotel Monterey Ginza was in a great location, for shopping and sight-seeing. It was easy to get around Tokyo from here either on the train or subway .It was also in a quiet spot just off the main shopping area of Ginza - wonderful for window shopping! A great western breakfast was available as well as the traditional Japanese style....

Have sayed at this hotel on my last two trips through Tokyo. Love the location, Ginza is great for both shopping and restaurants. A tip - the best restaurants are on the small side streets, not the main strips. This hotel is next to Ginaze-Itchome metro station, and is only 5-10 minute walk from Ginza metro station, which has direct...

The hotel staff spoke english and gave some great recommendations on places to eat - if you like Tepenyaki a must is Chibo - Level 6...

This is a neat hotel, great location (Ginza and close to subway), the rooms are clean and there is free internet. They are a bit on the small side, but it's still fine for a big city hotel. The value was excellent (paid less than 70 Euro per night, which is impossible to beat in Tokyo).

My sister and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, from Dec. 30-Jan.2. I booked the hotel for a pretty good price considering it was during the New Year season. I ended up paying about 12,000 yen per night, which was about $130+ Good things: - Good location, right next to the subway, 10 mins walk to JR Tokyo...

A nice hotel with small, plain but comfortable rooms. Ginza is a very smart area and the price we paid was way below similar hotels we found nearby. Everything worked and was spotless, service was fine. The bathroom was well stocked with free toiletries that were replenished daily and the bed was very comfortable. The main attraction is the location,...

Very nice French chic hotel with the Ginza main shopping street just a few steps away. There is a metro station just at the side of the hotel which is very convenient.

The hotel is very well-located pretty; near the major shopping street along Ginza. Just less than 5 mins walk and you'll reach the streets of famous shopping centre and famous brands. The rooms aren't specfiically spacious but definitely good enough for me as I understand most hotel rooms in Tokyo are relatively small. House keeping is excellent as my room is...
