Well, if you have never stayed in a capsule hotel it can be quite an experience! It's not as small as you would imagine. Inside the capsule you can find a TV, radio, mirror, mattress, pillows, bedsheets, pajamas, slippers (for 2) and somewhere to charge your phone! Reception is 24 hours and the staff are very friendly. You can't really...

Since we wanted to experience this hotel style unique to Japan we stayed one night in the Tokyo Kiba Capsule Hotel. Normally capsule hotels are men or women only or they have floors for each gender. This hotel however has mixed floors which is convenient if you travel as a couple. They even have double capusles, which is what we...

My Girlfriend and I visited Tokyo in July 2015. We had an amazing time at this place. It has a huge Onsen in the first floor. They provided shower accesories as teethbrush, slippers, bath robe among others. There are several capsules with different sizes. We slept in a double room capsule which was quite comfortable and definetely not claustrophobic! as...

We stayed here as the hostel we had booked for our time in Tokyo did not have a late check in policy (be careful with wanting to check in after 9:30/10pm everywhere in Japan). As we were arriving late from our flight and this hostel offered late check in and had decent reviews we decided to stay here out first...

We stayed here for one night in a double capsule as we'd arrived into Tokyo on a night flight and they allowed us to check in late. The capsule was comfortable, with its own tv, light and plugs etc. It was quiet and the staff were friendly. Lockers were provided free of charge, as were toothbrushes, shampoo, shower gel and...

This was our first time in a cubicle hotel. We thought it was great for 1/2 nights, but wouldn't recommend staying longer than that! Location was close to a metro l station which was handy. Big shopping centre close by where you could buy groceries.

A really cool hotel. You get provided with pyjamas, slippers and fresh towels everyday. The capsule rooms are quite snug but there is enough room to move around in. It's definitely worth a stay. We stayed for 4 nights which was nice however the novelty wears off for most people after a day or 2. The staff are very friendly...

The capsules are more spacious than expected, and the facilities are all very good. The communal area is pleasant, and the whole place has a relaxed, hostel vibe. That being said, it is only a capsule hotel, and luxury or comfort should obviously not be expected, but it is a cheap and reasonable stay. Definitely worth it for the experience...

We stayed at this capsule hotel as we wanted to experience what’s its like on our last night in Tokyo. We thoroughly enjoyed it, the ‘pods’ are of a good size more than enough space to watch TV and sleep, we had a compartment for anything we needed in the pod and a locker for our luggage. The bathrooms were...

We stayed here for 4 nights at the start of our trip and it was ideal! The capsules were surprisingly spacious, but if you're over 6ft you might fit too comfortably. Bathrooms were traditional Japanese style, showering in a room full of strangers, honestly it was fine! Bathrooms and capsules very clean. Staff were friendly- some spoke good English but...
