This hotel was clean modern and comfortable. It was close to two subways, only a few minutes walk and also close to the monorail for Haneda Airport (5 minute walk). The rooms we had were large, a comfort double room and a comfort twin, the beds were one of the most comfortable for our trip. usb chargers in rooms were...

Excellent place. Comfortable beds. Clean modern rooms. We had a lovely stay. They even provided everything that we might ever need for our stay. They will give you basically all the simple things that you need. This hotel strives beyond perfection and for the comfort of everyone who stays there.

Newly built hotel with very clean and well appointed rooms. Staff were faultless and public areas were clean and pleasant. Didn't eat there, but there were Western and Japanese options. They have a cultural lounge (Sakura) where you can try some traditional Japanese activities like; origami, caligraphy, furishiki folding and painting manekineko! Yuka who helped us was brilliant. Wouldn't hesitate...

Couldn't fault this hotel and it's helpful friendly staff. We stayed 3 nights at the beginning of our holiday and 4 nights at the end. It is a non smoking hotel so no worry about getting a smoking room as happened in 2 of the other hotels we stayed in. Our 3 bed room was large enough to fit in...

I am very happy that we chose this hotel for our last night in Tokyo: the rooms are large, the staff is very nice and the location was perfect for Haneda airport but also for travelling around Tokyo (MEtro and JR Yamanote line close by). The bedroom was great in the first building (the annex is more dated). Lovely staff...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a tour. This hotel is seriously outdated with dirty carpets, 70s decor, thin cheap sheets, very hard beds, rock like pillows and a dumpy vibe. They have a nice breakfast that caters to westerners but unfortunately the breakfast room is too small to accommodate the guests and you have...

On the last portion of our stay in Japan we booked 2 rooms in the new side of Shiba Park 151. The staff and customer service is outstanding. The rooms were spacious and I found them to be much bigger then some of the hotels I have stayed at in North America. The rooms have a nice Japanese theme. This...

Stay in the new wing if possible. We were amazed how large the rooms were for Japan. We had three beds and lots of rooms. Didn't eat there but it was a great room and location. Lots of cute places to get good ramen a block away. Near the train station. Convenience stores close by.

Nice crisp clean hotel with great location and transportation options. The breakfast buffet isn't the best but it's more like alacarte restaurant. Staff is friendly and hospitable but as usual Japanese are strict and inflexible on things like....Food timings, can't get food delivery etc. Slightly pricey but there wasn't anything better in that area. The building seems to be new...

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
New Open 1st August 2016! Hospitality from the moment you book. We want our guests from overseas to understand more about Japan, to fall in love with our country, and to experience the true meaning of Japanese hospitality, which we call “omotenashi”. So what can we do to accomplish that? With this concept in mind, while we are a city hotel, the Shiba Park Hotel 151 offers services to provide Japanese inn-style hospitality. Our hospitality begins the moment you make a reservation. We want to be in touch with our guests’ needs and to fulfill their desires. We can suggest activities according to the season and the guests’ interests. A one-of-a-kind globe entitled , at a height of over 1.7 meters, will be set up in the lobby. The globe, on which no borders have been drawn, rests on a pedestal made in the image of Mt. Fuji. As the lobby is a place where our guests from all over the world come and go, this installation will be set out in the hope that visitors can spend some time in harmony, sharing stories while looking upon their home countries, Japan, and the world. We offer professional services that are different from standard concierge services, in line with our philosophy “Endeavor to be the professional of Omotenashi” in mind. ... more   less
