Stayed here for a week. Small room, great for one person. Located in quiet residential area. Price is extremely affordable. Great mini grocery store 5 minutes walk, or lawsons 2 minute walk. Would definitely stay again.

Even the mansion is located rather far away from the train station (15 minutes walk), the area around there is quite and suits for resting during your holiday. The staff're always willing to assisting you if there are any problems occured with your room or facilities. I would say I was so impressed with one staff there. The tall male...

My stay was a last minute one so I can't complain, but one thing I would have appreciated was a mold-free bathroom. Other than that, the area where the inn is situated had great bars and restaurants that for the neighborhood establishments alone I wouldn't mind staying there again.

Great, great, great place to stay! Got lost and the staff actually came out to find me by bike. Very kind and polite staff too. Simple, no frills hotel, but it has everything one would need for a long term stay (I only stayed for two nights though, but wish I could have stayed longer!). The price and location were...

If you're not looking for luxury, and are planning on getting a well-located space where you'll only be spending the nights [Tokyo has far too many things to experience to be staying in] this is the best priced hotel in the whole area. Located a short distance from Shibuya, and a short walk to a regular bus route that takes...

There's nothing more I can say. "2 thumbs up!". Will definitely stay there again. Great location, great room, great facilities, great staff. Located at a very convenient location, there is a Lawson 24 hours right next door, there's post office behind it, Hiro-O train station about 12 minutes walk. Keep it up !

The biggest criticism I have is that the room was stinking of cigarette smoke and everything was yellow - as if a non-stop smoker has inhabited the room. Everything stinks of smoke - the worst part is the air conditioner. Why does Weekly Mansion not have non-smoking rooms as in any other hotel ?

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
