This very nice Capsule hotel is in the highest of standards. I went there wanting to experience this concept, knowing I have not claustrophobic issues. This was a great welcoming to Japan, as the perfectionism the locals tend to have is apparent in every place in this hotel – clean, beautifully designed showers, spa, working rooms, lobby and more –... This is a slightly more expensive capsule hotel, however, after just arriving in Japan it was welcoming and the Onsen facilities within helped with relaxing after a long flight. Central location meant a good night could be enjoyed before walking home.

This is an okay capsule, Bali themed. It is near the railway tracks, so you do get some noise from the trains passing nearby. It is not horrible as some reviewers say, and you can turn off the lights if you use one of the buttons- no fuss there. There is constant airflow to the capsule (didn't you even here... More

I stayed here last night in order to get to the Tsukiji tuna auction at 4.50 a.m., and the location is good for that purpose - about 25 min. walk. It was my first time in a capsule hotel, so I don't know if my criticisms would apply to all such lodgings or not. It's not the lack of space... More

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
