We loved staying in the Intercontinental. Its a hotel that does everything just right and leaves the guest completely satisfied. The hotel is very conveniently located and close to two metro stations. Rooms very modern and spacious. The breakfast buffet in the lobby is extensive and leaves no room for complaints. Service is swift, efficient and polite and we were...

Very well located and covering all the basics you look for in a hotel, the ANA Intercontinental it is a great option for your visit to Tokio. There is a shuttle service from the airport to several hotels, you can take it directly in the terminal and the ANA will be the first or second hotel in the route (and...

There is no doubt that this is well located and a first rate place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bar, breakfast, spa and Michelin 2-star restaurant are al first rate. The hotel is right next to the diplomatic area, and adjacent to the cherry blossoms (in season). We were in prime cherry blossom season, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The...

Well located hotel in Tokyo, took the limousine bus from the airport and got off at the entrance of the hotel. The staffs are very cordial and efficient. The reception floor looks great and the check in process was smooth and fast. I booked the room for one night with IHG points as a platinum ambassador member. I was told...

The ANA Intercontintental Hotel was a surprising confluence of huge hotel and extraordinary personal service. From the moment of our booking, the hotel's communications were terrific. An e-mail to the concierge resulted in a seamless airport transfer to the hotel. Stops at at the well staffed concierge desk inquiring about local restaurants, resulted in detailed handouts of a broad variety...

Hubby and I have stayed more than once in this hotel. The location is quite good as it is very near to Roppongi so there are a lot of places you can go to to eat. I like this hotel because they cater more to the idea of "western comfort" i.e., bigger rooms and beds. Areas for improvement would be...

I have stayed at the ANA Intercontinental in Tokyo on many occasions now and every visit has been fantastic. Excellent location and very attentive and friendly staff. My room has always spotless. The executive lounge is a nice retreat for breakfast, high tea or a drink in the evening. Well worth a visit!

The staff are pleasant and try hard but this is more of an overpriced 4 star property than a luxury 5 star hotel. Our first room was tiny (25 cm between the bed and the wall). After I complained I was told this was ‘one of our smaller rooms’. Given that I am a Gold Ambassador and we stayed as...

An enjoyable stay. Room was good. Ate breakfast twice. Hotel was very busy but they have an excellent system to minimise the wait by sorting out room number and coffee/tea choice while you are waiting for a table. Excellent buffet and well laid out.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
