My family of three are currently staying at this hotel to celebrate our special days (anniversary and birthday) but feel that this Marriott hotel is below 5 stars hotel standard. House keeping is way below acceptable level. Carpets are not vacuumed often enough. Dusty. We...More

The room is HUGE for a hotel in Tokyo. Loved the separate bathtub and shower in the beautiful bathroom. The hotel is only a couple of minutes walk to the Shinagawa station. There are also buses down the hill which are convenient if you are...More
I can't say enough nice things. Great location by Shinagawa, providing easy access from Narita and onwards to Kyoto/Osaka. JR East line goes through there, providing great access to all around metro Tokyo as well.
Room was spacious and comfortable. Gym is outstanding with new...More
The room was big, the beds comfortable, and amenities they did not stinge. We went with a family of four and met up with my sister's family there as well. They have Marriott points and chose this hotel. It exuded luxury from the entrance. The...More
This is a Marriott Autograph property. The Prince hotel chain offers average products normally the kind you might find occupied with folks from bus tours but this one is unique and special from its Japanese Garden to the upscale service and feel. We enjoyed a...More

In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa
and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.

Folks below answered your question, but I wanted to add that this property is a well managed high-end hotel that we found extremely comfortable and friendly just below those of the Ritz Carlton and others of this class.
