One of the bigger rooms I've stayed in, in Japan. They had just completed a renovation so the lobby is very beautiful and rooms are nice. Is very close to the Metro and the JR lines. The lack of a gym and pool are the only things that hold this place back from being amazing.

The room space is the bigest l have ever lived in Tokyo. The location is also pretty good, if you want to Tokyo tower or run around the park. Although it isn't near the subway station, but you can take its shuttle bus to hamama Hamamatsuchō station connected your nexr trip. There are several restaurants and one drug store near Diamond...

The hotel is located in ideal location which is close to the beautiful temple (early morning walk would be great) and great view to Tokyo Tower from room. However, it's quite far from the nearest station, let say 15-20 mins walk. Service is great as the Japanese is good at satisfying their customers. Highly recommend!!

Great location right underneath Tokyo Tower. There is a temple next door, subway stations nearby, and a great street to wonder down and sample the food. Well layed out breakfast, and the staff were great. There is a swimming pool, but we did not get to try it out.

Stayed 4 nights for business. Positives: 1) Quiet - Hotel amidst vast, serene and green surrounds, rare in a major city. 2) Convenient - nearest metro 2 min walk away 3) Clean - While room setting is not most modern, room is clean and comfortable Less Good: 1) Tired breakfast menu - While they have non Japanese breakfast items, these...

Hotel rooms are a bit dated, despite its modern architecture. Do pay more for a room on a higher floor facing the Tokyo Tower. It's worth it. Nice: rooms have a small balcony. Breakfast buffet is ridiculous expensive. JPY 3700 per person. A la carte, a coffee is JPY 1000 alone. The next Starbucks is 500m away using the rear...

It may not be near typical shopping districts like Shinjuku, but there are a few subway stations near the hotel which easily provide access, and the hotel is right outside Tokyo Tower, and some of the rooms provide a great, unobstructed view! Breakfast was wonderful! A huge spread of both Japanese and Western selections, including rice, soup, meat, eggs, cereal,...

Location really feels secluded, and even bird calls from the park. Although Ravens song is not the best sounding. What is fascinating is that the Tokyo Prince withstood every imaginable modernizations. To achieve cult status required probably another 30 years, but I do not think décor does not pass. The rooms are showing clear signs of wear, and prices are no longer in...

I stayed in this hotel for a week in February and I have to say that it is amazing! Yes it's old, but you know, once you're there is like you're totally feeling the Tokyo atmosphere. Although Tokyo might seem very modern, it also has a very typical architecture style that can be seen in this hotel. The beds are...

This hotel has a very large and presentable foyer but the driveway and surrounding buildings are typical 1980's concrete and plastic. Well worn and a little shabby. When you enter the hotel you get a sense of space but also a slightly tired and worn out feel. That said, my room over looked the Tower which was an amazing view....

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
