I stayed overnight at this hotel in mid-April 2016 on my way to Kumamoto. Located in the Shirokadenai neighbourhood, you're surrounded by upscale buildings and houses. Great if you're keen to be away from the noise of the city area. Upon my early arrival at the hotel, I was served promptly at the reception, although I had to wait till...

We are truly thankful you chose to stay with us at Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo.I appreciate your wonderful review of our hotel. Additionally you can enjoy the changing colors of autumn leaves in our Japanese garden from late November to early December so we strongly recommend to stay here in this season.

This is for November of 2015. Took family of four. As platinum members we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and amenities. Booked two rooms, one king and one with two beds. Very comfortable and clean and quiet. In the Shinagawa area. There is a shuttle from hotel that will take you to the Shinagawa station for easy access around...

Stayed here for 5 nights for a business meeting. This is my first visit to Japan, so I didn't know what to expect initially. The hotel was located in Minato district, and about 5-7 min walk from the nearest subway station. Check in was smooth, although the front desk refused to acknowledge my SPG card as it was a corporate...

On our way back from the Club Med Hokkaido, we decided to spend 2 nights in Tokyo, staying here. There was a bed made out for our 2 kids and despite that the room was very nice. Great location and quite kid friendly. Has nice lobby coffee shop and rooftop bar. Will try this place again.

I normally stay at the ANA Intercontinental in Roppongi for business, but that is triple the cost compared to this Sheraton situated in a quiet part of Tokyo, 5 min walk to Metro and two convenience stores. The hotel also offer a shuttle service to a major station which is good. The airport limousine busses also stop at this hotel...

This was my second business trip to Japan and it was a much better stay. It was an upgrade from my stay at Hilton Japan Shinjuku (please read my Hilton review). This hotel is ok, but for a Sheraton it is much less than expected. The prices are high, too high basically for what you get. The rooms are a little bigger than usually in Tokyo, but other than that hotel feels old. You are also charged an additional tax even though you already pay for it when booking. Breakfast not...

Sheraton Miyako had one of the nicest garden that I have seen. I actually spent 20 minutes sitting there to relax surgery going to the gym. The hotel is a bit old but everything works and is clean. Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
