The Daiichi Hotel is an older hotel conveniently located near Hibiyu and Ginza. The room was comfortable and good size, although the air conditioning was difficult to fine tune. Service was consistently of a high standard. Restaurants were expensive however there are plenty of nearby alternatives, especially on the Ginza Corridor which is about a 5 minute walk away.

The Dai Ichi Hotel is one of our favorites in Tokyo. We have stayed there about ten times now. I write this review, however, to point out the potential advantages of its proximity to the Dai Ichi Annex. The Annex is right across the street, and has smaller rooms that are less expensive. If you are traveling with a group...

Usually it shouldn't matter how old is the hotel. I stayed in many hotels located in a historical buildings and if refurbisment is kept permanently, you can fully enjoy your stay. Unfortunatelly it is not the case in Daiichi. Be honest this hotel is not a wreckage, but if you pay app. 500 EUR per night, I'm expecting top notch...

I booked this hotel for 2 nights as a get away to Tokyo. When i booked the hotel i used Hotels.com. The booking confirmation is listed as "Superior Twin + Extra Bed" which equals 2 Twin Beds + an extra bed. I paid the extra price to have the room over just a "Superior Twin Bed" because my 11 year...

Stayed at DHT a couple of times already. Though compared to other new hotels, DHT offers the best accommodation in terms of staff, facilities and food! Its closed to Ginza and Shimbashi station, let alone the pubs and restaurants are just walking distance.

I am so disappointed with this hotel that I am eating breakfast here with my wife and writing this message. We decided for a short getaway to Tokyo and so had been continuously reviewing multiple hotels on agoda/bookings.com. We had come across dai-ichi but decided against it cause it was quite pricey. However, in the end we decided Dai-ichi for...

Thank you very much for your stay at Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo. We are very sorry that your stay at our hotel was uncomfortable. We have revised the notation on the website since lack of information about our Premier breakfast led to misunderstandings. We would like to take this opportunity to again offer our sincere apologies for our insufficient information about...

As indicated by many other travellers, the hotel is extremely well located, right next to the metro & train stations. As a consequence and because windows are really dated and do not provide the expected level of noise insulation, rooms are indeed noisy. So, try to get a high-floor room or bring earplugs! That being said, my room was quite...

Everything is well-prepared and high-quality,It's really convenient where the hotel located, I didn't get wet from the hotel to JR in raining day. Their sweet service on my Birthday is also a charming point to me, I will definitely choose Daiichi Hotel next time.

We really enjoyed our nine nights stay. Room on the 19th floor was very nice, bedding very comfortable, nice size bathroom with large shower and bathtub, Shiseido and Occitane toiletries. Breakfast in the small lounge is very pleasant. Staff always very helpful (even with touristy information!). The NESPRESSO machine is a plus to enjoy a good morning coffee! The hotel...

My return to this hotel was not a good one. It has become tired and is in desperate need of renovation. As a consequence, they are indeed renovating the hotel. Without pre-warning when and we booked, most unfortunately, they commenced the renovation when we were there. Even though we were two floors above the floor being renovated, we were woken...

Thank you very much for your stay at Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo. Please accept our sincere apologies for making you and your family’s stay at our hotel an uncomfortable one. It was in our lack of common sense to impose you, our dear guest, to tolerate such disturbance from the construction. We have reflected deeply on this matter and understood belatedly...

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
