The hotel gave me a free room upgrade so I was very satisfied with my room. The bed was the biggest king size bed I've ever seen (it could sleep 4 people). The bathroom was also very nice with a jet tub, shower and toilet/bidet....More
We stayed here only for one night (out of the five nights we were in Tokyo). This hotel was beautiful and extremely well kept. Lots of amenities, a conveniently located little store on the lobby level, fantastic spa services and onsen, etc. We were very...More
The hotel lobby is vast and futuristic and the staff are ludicrously helpful. But what really makes your entrance to this hotel memorable is the toilet. Open the door to this room and the light turns on automatically, the toilet lid rises to reveal a...More
I booked this hotel to give myself a treat for the first night in my backpacker trip in Japan. And it exceeded all my expectations! The staff was non-intrusive but ALWAYS there for you. They seemed to be constantly thinking of better ways to serve...More

Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much
older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.

It's convenient to most tourist spots in Tokyo. 5 minute cab ride or 20 minute walk to Roppongi (restaurants, shops, museums - very lively). Close to subway and 15 minute walk to JR train - both can take you anywhere in the city. The hotel is located in the middle of a park with views of Tokyo Tower and a major temple complex in the park. It's more of a business hotel that tourist hotel - they can tell you how to get from A to B, however, the concierge is not great with arranging special tours or adventures. Tons of Taxis at the from door. Some rooms have panaramic views of the Parka and Tower, others face office buildings - request higher rooms with views... many options for room quality / view. A 60 - 90 minute cab ride to Narita, closer to Haneda. The best locations for hotels in Tokyo would be around the Tokyo Imperial Palace (10 minute cab ride from this hotel). Hotels closer to the Palace tend to be more expensive 5 Star Options. If you want "lively" and a action right outside your door stay a bit closer to Roppongi or the Ginza.
