The rooms are small - but you should be expecting this from any similar place/cost in Japan. Bed was comfortable, shades kept it dark, shower was solid and the toilet was probably my favorite thing about Japan.
The restaurant is convenient but there are tons of other eateries around that I'd recommend you explore. I had breakfast at the hotel twice - it was adequate and came in around 2200 yen - about $14 USD - a bit expensive compared to other options elsewhere.
Starbucks is very close for those in need of wifi, table and coffee for any business work.
The 'lobby' is quite small, and check in/out happens through a touch screen kiosk. The room is quite efficient, to the point of being cramped at times. There are no chairs, so only place to sit is on the edge of the bed. And the best place we could set our luggage down was in the shower or toilet room.
That being said, the bed is quite comfortable, and the room is quiet. The staff were friendly, and they let us leave our bags for part of the day after we had checked out.
It is a very convenient location for Shibuya station, shopping, and so on. If you want to stay in Shibuya, and are looking for a place to crash after long days elsewhere in the city, this is it!
Following the theme of Japan, the rooms were very small and minimalistic, but had everything you needed from amenities to a really comfy bed. But as a group of 25 year old mates, we didn't want to spend any time in the rooms, so it was the perfect place.
If you are in your early to late 20s, it's the best place to stay. We travelled back to Tokyo after a week stint in Hakuba and had booked a different hotel and we all wished we were staying at All Day Place.
Also! Make sure you try the Mushroom Toasted Sandwiches in the Cafe downstairs!
I agree with lots of other comments on this being a backpackers masquerading as a premium hotel. No reception as such, just a few people sitting on bar stools with laptops. Checkin is fully self catered via a kiosk that takes your details and payment, and provides your room keys.
I get that rooms are typically smaller and prices are higher in Tokyo but I think all day place Shibuya takes this concept a little too far…
We paid $1950 AUD (~¥186,000) for four nights accommodation. It is impossible to overstate how small the room was. We stayed in a Corner King which to be fair is clearly advertised as 17.6m2 which I saw at the time of booking. The bathroom is probably 2.6m2, which leaves 15m2 for the actual room, which is the size of a standard car park spot.
Room facilities are lacking- fridge is big enough for three medium bottles of water and the room has no iron and ironing board.
Despite the high price, they’re utterly strict on 3pm check in time. I asked if we could access our room about one hour early and was told that it was ready but it would cost ¥3,000 to get access. I’ve never stayed at a hotel before that will charge you for early access to your room even if it’s already available.
Overall, a great disappointment for the price. Despite not spending much time in the room, I wish I’d paid a little more to stay somewhere more reputable with decent facilities and service.
I saw many younger crowds came for drink and chill at the cafe. Their pizza was good.
The rooms are clean but really small so there is no space for more than 2 luggages. Definitely not suitable for those with very young kids.
They had machine machines and dryer 2-in-1. Laundry detergent comes with the machines.
I think this place is over hyped and over priced. Being crowded and cramped doesn’t make this an authentic Japanese experience!
