Right at the famous Shibuya crossing. Stayed here for the last 4 trips to Tokyo. Best location for shopping, eating and sightseeing. Shibuya Station is right underneath it. Airport limousines stops right in front of it. What more can you ask for?

The location of this hotel is superb, the views are simply breathtaking, and upon arrival, the hotel exudes class, so I was surprised to find the bed not all that comfortable. The en suite bathroom facilities (in one of the cheapest rooms, which i imagine was by no means "cheap") was pretty dated (although the toilet seat contraption was the...

This was my second time stayed in the hotel. Very convenient for the airport transfer as the airport limousine bus just in front of the lobby, the fare is jpy1100 (Haneda) and jpy3100(Narita).The Tokyo subway and JR station just around the corner. The hotel located in Shibuya Mark City Building where famous and popular eatery can be found everywhere. Midori...

Shibuya Excel is right smack at the heart of the famous district. The airport limousine conveniently drops you off and picks you up at the driveway. Staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful. If you get a chance to ride one of the left-side elevators, it'll give you a scenic view of the Shibuya scramble. Rooms are big, especially for...

I'm sure the most commented feature of this hotel is its location. And I agree. Just steps from major Tokyo Metro and JR rail lines, attached to Shibuya Mark City that has dining options (including a popular sushi chain, Starbucks, and Jean Francois french bakery), it is perfectly located in the heart of Shibuya's maze of stores, restaurants and happenings...

this hotel is perfectly located just on top of shibuya station, with a wonderful view of the shibuya crossing itself. Perfect for touristing Tokyo and very nice for evening strolls. The rooms are fine, somewhat larger than japanese standard but still not big. Mobilephone and laptop docking stations in room was a plus. the beds are nice and quite comfy...

Although i had travelled for work, I could imagine this to be the perfect hotel for a vacation. Bang on top of the shibuya junction and easy connectivity to everywhere. The rooms are on the smaller side but works out fine for a business traveller. The breakfast was ok but they need to have more than the 5 options they...

This hotel helped my visit in Japan better! The access of the MRT was very convenient. The location was awesome and very convenient too. The rooms are all clean and just made for the right people. I will book this hotel again when i come back to Tokyo.

Similar to other reviews you can't beat the location. When we booked the hotel we requested a higher floor with a view of the crossing. We lucked out and received room 2102. I would recommend requesting this early rather than waiting closer to your arrival date as I am sure they assign rooms as they get booked so don't wait...

If you do it, do it right. If you want to visit Tokyo's most vibrant, trendy and buzzing neighbourhood then stay right in the middle of it. The Tokyu Excel hotel is located on top of Shibuya station so it is easy to find and located right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. All rooms are located on...

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
