In fact, it was not far from Shinjuku Station, it was good to have a lot of shops around. The breakfast system was good and the staff was friendly. I will stay at this hotel when I next travel to Tokyo

Good location. Size of roomis larger than expected, i can open our large lugguage in our room! The room is clean and tidy. But it is better to get brighter lighting in room, we felt the room is too dim at night time.

Comfortable hotel close to Shinjuku station, shops and restaurants. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, small but perfectly reasonable. Not much wardrobe space but enough for a few days. We requested soft pillows as the original were quite hard. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was a mixture of western and Japanese dishes and although it felt a bit...

Have stayed here on four separate occasions. This was the first time since the transition to Citadines. Not much seems to have changed (apart from the reception makeover). Still the same great location, and friendly staff. Rooms are typical size for Tokyo. Staff will gladly receive items and forward/receive luggage as requested.

The is small as you would expect, but certainly not the smallest place we stayed. The location is brilliant right in the heart of Shinjuku making it possible to get an I stand feel of Tokyo without going very far. It's located right in the heart of Kabukicho which is the red light district and there are lots of hostess...

Place was very clean, of a high standard. All amenities provided and room cleaning service everyday. Central and convenient location. Staff could speak good English and were extremely helpful. This is a pleasant hotel to stay in and is worth the price. A very comfortable stay.

We stayed here for a total of 5 nights, the staff were very polite and warm. The rooms are cleaned beautifully and they provide nice amenities. The only down side to many hotels in the city's of Japan Is you can't open any windows for fresh air and the air con will only go to 20 degrees and the hallways...

I can't say enough good things about this place. Located walking distance from Shinjuku station in Kabukicho (kind of the NSFW area of Tokyo), the hotel is clean and very well appointed. The staff is helpful and the rooms are big by Tokyo standards. I am 6'4" and everything is sized so that I can function (not always the case...

I stayed in the same type of room in 3 different hotels in Tokyo, and this one was by far the biggest and for the same price as the others. It couldn't be better located, being by both the Shinjuku stations, food options, above a market... really fantastic location. We were there for two morning earthquakes (7+ near Fukushima, so...

The thing to remember when selecting this hotel is that it is in the heart of Kabukicho, so be aware that there is significant street noise if your room is on the main strip side, which can still be heard on the higher levels (our room was on the 12th floor), there are many neighboring bars and even though touting...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
