I stayed here back in 2009. My self and 2 other guys shared a room that consisted of a large double bed and a narrow sofa bed. The room had very little wardrobe and luggage storage, but did have a large bathroom with a shower, jet bath and toilet. The room was clean but with no natural lighting, it did...

Due to a mix up with our original plans, we found ourselves homeless for the night and were frantically finding a location to stay and we were lucky to find a room for 3 at the last minute here. The staff were friendly even taking our reservations only 15 minutes prior and our room was ready in 30 minutes. It...

The pictures shown on the website is different when we checked into the hotel. Maybe there is another similary hotel with the same name? Reception not friendly. Rooms are small and old. There is bathtub. Location near the train station and many eateries around. Really disappointed. Wifii does not work.

Shinjuku is a strategic place to shop, eat and sightseeing. The hotel is not that easy to be located, from the subway station I have to use google map to locate the hotel because it is within walking distance so taxi driver wont drive you there. Inside the room is fine, it has heater for winter season, hot water for...

arrived early with the intention to leave my luggage there before i headed out shopping. the front desk lady with long hair in a bun was very rude. She explained the check in procedures like a bullet train and asked me to push my luggage to their storeroom just next to the hotel's lift despite myself having many backpacks to...

The older rooms are located on the lower floors. Small rooms with minimal walking space, good enough for one person movement especially when entering the room. Spacious bathroom thou. Alot of great restaurants around during the day time. Location was great as near the metro, however beware of late nights especially if travelling alone when returning to the hotel especially...

We had booked a tripple room, with an extra bed- but when we arrived we were offered a familyapartment with 2 bunkbeds at no extra costs. It was located two minutes walk from the hotel- but that was no problem. The room was smal, but very nice, and it had all the tings we needed- incl a small kitchen- and...

We are a family of 4. We booked a room for 4 person thinking it will be reasonably spacious. The room turned out to be very small. 2 double-deck beds side by side. Hardly any room to place luggage. There is separate bathroom and toilet in the room. Only one small counter + basin for cooker/pantry and your washing/teeth brushing....

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
