The hotel is good, well located, the rooms are really big by japanese standards. The room had a Bose home theatre system which really helped in my long stay. The only downside is that Okubo (where the hotel is located) is not considered a premium location by Japanese standards. There is a 24 Hours Aeon just below the hotel which...

Thank you very much for having stayed with us. Good location and the size of rooms are our strength. Our hotel is 5 minutes from the nearest Okubo Train Station located one stop from Shinjuku. Okubo station is not famous. But there are a lot of Indian shops and convenience shops nearby. We look forward to serving you again.

This place was perfect for our short stay in Tokyo as it was extremely close to two major train stations as well as a Family Mart, Aeon & a pharmacy. We also got a room upgrade to one with a full kitchenette which was extremely helpful as well as being able to pay for a later check out. Bed was...

Thank you for staying with us. A good location is one of our strengths. As you mentioned, there are a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets, pharmacies, nearby. With regard to upgrading, it's not always, only when the rooms you booked are occupied, however, we are glad you liked it. Regarding the bathroom, unfortunately as of now we can't improve...

It only gets a 3 star ranking but I would give it a 4 1/2 star. From the moment I arrived it was amazing. My flight landed late so I had a late check in that they accomodated for AND I got a room upgrade! The new room had a kitchenette in it - which I really appreciate as I...

We are pleased with what we are getting at this apartment. Enough bed space and room for our family of four. It is 5 minutes from the nearest Okubo Train Station, with an AEON and many food eateries around this place. 👍

My wife and I stayed here for 10 nights in 2013 and really enjoyed the experience, so it was an easy choice for our second visit to Tokyo in 3 years. Sadly, although the convenience of the location and the wonderful friendly staff have not changed, the interior of Hundred Stay is looking a little tired. The furniture and fittings...

My husband and I just spent 8 nights at Hundred Stay Hotel in Shinjuku and we made a great choice! Location in Shinjuku is fairly central but slightly off the beaten track in a more residential neighborhood. It’s one block away from Okubo Station (One stop north of Shinjuku on the JR Line) and about a 10 minute walk (straight...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
