Citadines Shinjuku has spacious rooms with cooking facilities. It is located 5 minutes walk from Shinjuku-gyoemmae Metro Station on the Marunouchi Line, which makes it easy to get to Ginza for shopping. The Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There are cafes, bars and restaurants close by.

Just had 2 rooms for 4 nights in Citadines Shinjuku, Tokyo and could not be happier with the experience. Location is very good, 10 min walk from central Shinjuku, and the rooms were clean, quiet and well equipped. I also think a good size for Japanese accommodation. Every thing you need is provided, even dressing gowns. Highly recommended for no...

We stayed here with another couple. This was my third stay here, and the location is just amazing. The rooms are really large and spacious for a Japanese hotel. The breakfast is a little expensive considering it is a buffet - this may be improved by offering a cup of coffee from the coffee machine rather than just the drip...

Away from the busy streets of Tokyo, good location and ideal for a group or family accommodation. My kids were complaining for eating fastfoods for breakfast so instead i was obliged to cook them our typical food for bfast, good thing their mini kitchen are fully equipped though instructions are all in Japanese we managed to operate them with the...

The entire duration of my stay at Citadines was peaceful - meaning staff was superbly friendly and helpful. I didn't encounter any issues during my check-in at past midnight, my persistent questions with directions during our stay and during check-out. Room was very clean and comfortable.

I stayed at the Citadines Shinjuku Tokyo for a total of 5 nights with my wife. The rooms and service at the hotel were excellent, making it a great base to explore Tokyo from. First off, the location is not the best, but rather just okay. If you're looking for a hotel in which a metro station or shopping is...

Citadines is a very well designed aparthotel with studio apartments. We stayed here for 2 nights and found the location to be very convenient to visit nearby Shibuya as well as other locations. The apartments felt very comfortable and the design ensured that they were relatively spacious.

Stayed here once about 10 years ago and now again on my return to Japan. Rooms are clean and and spacious for Japan, and within walking distance of the metro. The place looks as new as it did 10 years ago, no complaints!

Love this hotel! Short walk to the busiest part of shinjuku where all the entertainment and restaurants and shopping is at. There's bus stop 50 steps away and subway couple blocks away too if you want to go somewhere further, super convenient. There are also 7-11, Yoshinoya and some other restaurants like 200 feet away from the hotel. The hotel...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

“I don't know with anybody but I loved our room with the street view. Maybe Citadines has a good sound-proofing system, I couldn't hear any horking or noises from the street. But we were on the 11th floor so maybe that was also a factor. ”
