We stayed in this budget hotel for 5 nights at the end of a 3 week trip in Japan and were very impressed.

We like it! Big rooms with comfortable beds. A living area complete with sofa and a kitchenette. And it is 10-20mins away from the action!
- The hotel is relatively new so, the rooms have that "nice new and clean" feeling.
Our family of 5 including 3 kids (17, 19 & 21) stayed at the Citadines for 4 nights just before Xmas. The hotel was very clean & tidy with each of our rooms having lounge & bedroom areas & also a small kitchen consisting of...More
Chose this hotel as there was a mini kitchenette. However, we did not have time to use it given the good food in Tokyo. Therefore, having a washer-dryer in the room will be more useful.

Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for
cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

On my first visit to Japan I went to osaka for Universal Studios and came back to Tokyo the next day. Citadines Shinjuku were more than happy to keep my luggage at the premises until I came back for it. I am sure they can receive your luggage on your behalf but it is much better that you contact them first.
