We picked the hotel for it's location. Near Shinjuku, but not right by a main street, and we were very pleased. There were several restaurants in the streets around the hotel so we had plenty of choice for breakfast. (Our rate didn't include breakfast.)
It locates about 5-10min walk from Shinjuku Station. A lot of restaurants nearby and the area is quiet.
Hotel room is small as usual. The room is not very clean especially the toilet.
It is good if you need to stay near Shinjuku.
First, there was a dead spider in the washroom the moment i got to the room. Second, the room smells like piss (it literally spells like a public washroom). Third, the hotel is pretty run down, the washroom looked like it hasn't been renovated for...More

It has no frills but does it's job. If I wanted to spend time in hotel I'd choose somewhere else. Proximity to shinjuku is handy for getting narita express and getting around circle line train - Yamanote line- to go anywhere along there. There's really...More

Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for
cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
