Hyatt is a best in class hotel. It's room was neat, clean and comfortable. Beautiful lobby. Their staff were very enthusiastic, caring to customers. They were very helpful and responsive. Very convenient- Toyko metro station underneath. Must come again next visit in Tokyo.

Just checked in to the Hyatt Regency in Shinjuku Tokyo and and it's a real disappointment in fact I hate it!!! The room looks like some 90 year old woman has decorated it and the bathroom is tiny. Up to now the only positive is that the room is quite big, oh and the view is nice. Unfortunately I have...

Size of hotel room in Tokyo is usually small, but room in Hyatt Regency is spacious even when we, 3 persons stayed in a room with 3 single beds. Location of the hotel is convenient as frequent shuttle bus to Shinjuku Station is provided or just take direct metro under the hotel. All staffs are helpful and can speak good...

The service in this hotel is outstanding. The location is near a lot of shopping and restaurants. The subway is nearby to get you to wherever you need. The rooms are in want of some updating though. I selected this hotel more out of convenience of location than the rooms themselves. Still a very clean and quality hotel.

The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and friendly and speak good english. The rooms are well equipped, we had a room with 2 double beds which was perfect for our family of four (2 kids aged 7 & 4). There is a minibar/fridge and tea/coffee making facilities and the hotel can provide many amenities free of charge if...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
