Rooms are expectedly small and only enough for one luggage to be opened on the floor. However, that aside, the hotel is well positioned and can be reached easily via underground passage from Shinjuku. Very near to all the restaurants and shopping, and enough distance to maintain quietude. Overall a usual well-run hotel in Tokyo and albeit its size and...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Only a few minutes walk from the train station and airport limousine bus stop. This hotel has your typically Japanese sized business hotel rooms. Unless you've stayed in one, don't expect spacious settings from these rooms. Since you're in Tokyo, then you're really not going to be spending much time in the rooms anyway. Yakitori alley is simply across the...

Dear Irvan S, Thank you very much for the nice comment for IBIS Tokyo Shinjuku. Our rooms are, compared to the normal IBIS hotels, a bit smaller, but still cozy and full equipped. But as you said, when you are in Tokyo, you just stay in the hotel room for sleeping because of all the places you have to visit....

Ibis Shinjuku is located extremely close to Shinjuku station as well as nightlife in Kabukicho. This hotel is all about location, location, location. The rooms are tiny as you'd expect in Japan. You only get a few TV channels and there's no view. Bathroom does have an ofuro which is nice, although the bathroom is also tiny. Staff was extremely...

My first time in Tokyo. Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Small room, but maybe that's pretty standard in this city. They were undergoing renovations but I heard no noise (I'm touring the city all day though). Breakfast buffet paid for separately. Not bad at all but nothing special.

Location was Great. Breakfast and Amenities were also good. Our expectations were low since it was a budget hotel and the room sizes were quite small, but we were really surprised with the quality of the hotel, even the room sizes was Our only Concern was the cleanliness of the bathrooms on our first day,

I stayed here for a couple of nights in a renovated room. The room was on the smaller side, but had everything i needed. There wasnt a safe in the room, which i thought was needed. The hotel is also being upgraded, so they were doing renovations on a couple of floors that went for the whole day. This didn't...

We're no stranger to Tokyo, and have stayed at many hotels. Ibis is a well-known budget chain, and i've stayed at a few Ibis hotels around the world to know what (little) to expect of it. Tokyo is an expensive city, so expect to pay more for a small room. The room is exactly as I've imagined - small and...

This Hotel is very well priced considering the super convenient location. You have to take west or central west exit from Shinjuku Station and you will be facing Odakyu Dept Store and the hotel is very close to it. The reception staff were very helpful and we were able to check in early and check-out at noon for no extra...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
