The hotel nearby Tokyo Metro Shinjuku Sanchome station. The outside Yasukuni Dori is a very busy main road. Many chain restaurants there and very convenient. Hotel Tateshina is located at the lane of Yasukuni Dori, very quiet place at urban Tokyo. The room is comfortable...More
First timers to Tokyo, probably have heard that Shinjuku is the place to be for fun if you can't find anything affordable in Shibuya. With that said, Hotel Tateshina is the place to start with.
It's far enough from Kabukicho that you won't be harassed...More
Super rude unhelpful staff who reprimanded us for checking out 10 mins too late. Also rude throughout the stay for no reason. Hotel is low end budget. Not super dirty but not great. You pay for what you get. Would definitely not come back.
I have stayed at tateshina hotel since 2004. It has been about four years since my last visit. The main hotel block has been renovated and the rooms are fitted out with new bath tubs, new led lights control, etc. Will choose the new rooms...More
Visited this hotel for a couple of nights in July 2017. It is rather worn down but also quite cheap so it was ok all in all. Approximately 15 minutes walk from Shinjuku station. Close to shopping and restaurants.
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for
cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

Thank you for a request.
Sorry as we don't have enough space to store luggage,
we could not keep a luggage for a week.
You could put your small suit case into a coin locker which be equipped near the station.
