PROS: - The hotel is a three-minute walk to the left of Exit 1 of Minami-asagaya Station on the Marunouchi Line. Shinjuku is just 11 minutes away by subway. - There is a convenience store directly connected to the hotel's lobby for immediate needs. - Rooms are decently sized by Japanese standards, but definitely not for clautrophobic individuals. Rooms contain...

It is so convenient to stay at this Route Inn Asagaya, it is only 2 minutes walk from the station, just get on the Maru no uchi subway line and get off at Minami asagaya. breakfast for me to have miso soup, delicious rice, nori and some pickles would be just fine for me. On top of that it is...

Route Inn Asagaya is 5 minutes from the Marunouchi subway line, which takes you to Shinjuku. There is a 7-11 nearby, as well as some restaurants. The room is typical of this price range. You'll get a clean room that fulfills basic needs. , Breakfast is included in the price, which was a nice buffet comprising of western and Japanese...

It was a nice and easy hotel to use. Staff were very sweet. The only thing that annoyed me was my original room stank of cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room. Fortunately, I was able to change it swiftly. Also walls were paperthin and you could hear every noise, that was the only other thing that disappointed me....

I visited Japan on a school tour and this was the first hotel we stayed in. It was excellent! It had clean rooms and an excellent breakfast buffet. It's a little off the beaten path of a typical tourist destination, so it's a very authentic experience. Highly recommended.

This hotel is about a 10min walk from Asagaya subway station, which is about a 10 minute ride from Shinjuku station on the Yamanote line. The neighbourhood I actually liked very much - very few tourists, and the feeling that you are in an authentic Tokyo neighbourhood. It has all the basics you could ask for: restaurants, grocery stores, small...

near to subway station (2 mins walk) but the station itself is not so centrally located. 3 or 4 stops on M line to Shinjuku. if you need to visit other places, it can take quite a distance. changing subway line also time consuming, walk from one line to another some times take 10-15 minutes. hotel itself is japanese standard....

We stayed in this area because it was very close to where our son lives in Ogikubo. Even though it was out of the centre, we found the centre was easily reached by either the Maranouchi subway line ( very close by) or the JR line, a 10- 15 minute walk away. We had a twin bedded room, because these...

A little bit far from the center so if you are planning for a late night out, you have a get a very expensive taxi ride back to this hotel. However, within the normal train operating hours, this is a good hotel to stay because its a short walk from the subway station (2nd to the last station of the...

Rooms were ok and clean. I got a single room and it was spacious. Bed was bigger than the normal single bed. Toilets were small as expected, I guess a norm in Tokyo. Amenities were pretty much complete. We also booked a twin room for my friends and the room was much bigger than other hotels we've stayed in. But...
