Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The opportunity to share breakfast around the communal table was a great experience. Staying in a local area (outside Tokyo) gave us wonderful snap shot of how people live.

Definitely a good hotel to stay during your time in Tokyo. People are really helpful and kind, they even gave us a guide for free when we lost our guide, they show interest on what are you visiting and give you some good advices about how to get there or what's better to see, respecting your preferences and ideas. There...

My sister and I stayed in this inn for 5 nights in April. We caught the train from the airport and took advantage of their offer to pay for our taxi to the hotel door. We arrived at 8am and our bags were stored and then taken to our room for us later in the day while we went out...

After looking at other reviews, I expected this hotel to be very good. However, their customer service was fine, but not amazing. Perhaps, we stayed in hotels in other countries that had very amazing customer service during this trip, this one seemed to be very average in comparison. The price was ok for Tokyo hotel and they provide basic stuff...

Family Inn Saiko is located slightly away from central Tokyo: the nearest 'popular area' being Ikebukuro which is a 30 minute walk from the inn. However, its location near two train stations of different companies make traveling less of a hassle. I felt welcome from Day 1 of booking my accommodation in Family Inn Saiko via wonderful assistance from Hiroshi,...

Great place to base yourself whilst in Tokyo - the owners speak excellent English; the ryokan is spotlessly clean and pleasant to stay in; and you're only a hop on the train away from the likes of Shinjuku!

We stayed here for 5 nights whilst visiting Tokyo. We were worried that we would have issues getting to the hotel from narita airport, but as we found, the instructions were so clear, that we got there easily. The rooms is traditional style with tatami mats and futon. Perfect for a traditional Japanese feel whilst in a large city. Of...

Located in a quiet area of Tokyo, this was a great start for our holiday. The instructions to get here are actually very good and the staff and owner Hiroshi could not be more helpful. Breakfast is a simple help -ourself to toast and drinks, which is enough to get you off for the day. The rooms are plain, but...

My family and I (with two children aged 7 and 3) recently stayed for 5 nights at this place. It is a lovely little inn where you are made to feel like family. We stayed in the family room which suited us very well, there was enough space for everyone and everything. The Inn also has a washing machine in...
