Hey, what's going on guys. I would like to let you all (especally Thai people) that I did figured out another restaurant with the crab. The restaurant I mentioned is located at the underground. It might not be fun without windows to see some views but you might want to enjoy the crabs there. I was with some Thai friendlies...

We arriced at the hotel for a two night stay to find reception was efficient and we soon headed for our room on the 8th floor, well it turned out to be more of a box room, very small, but the main thing the bed was confortable. Next morning we headed for the lift to go to breakfast, it was...

The hotel was clean. But the thermostat didn't work, poor insulation, one could hear babies crying in next room., no wardrobe, very small rooms. We waited up to ten minutes for a lift. The breakfast was in a basement cafeteria, type restaurant, again huge queues. The hotel is situated up to 15 minute walk from the train. The area is...

It is a normal hotel for its standards, the only drawbacks are that rooms are a bit small and in my opinion it is a bit far from the interesting parts of Tokyo. The positive aspect is that it is next to a Mall were you can have plenty of food and there are several shops and metro station that...

Rooms are small but clean. Rooms are renovated since I last visited a few years back so everything looks new! About 10 mins walk from Ikebukuro station. Direct link to Sunshine City. Provides airport limousine bus service for direct transfers to and from the airport. Across the road is a row of anime shops. Lots of cafes and food places...

We came here in 1983 and we're not impressed. The room was so small that we went onto the bed from the washroom. 33 years later, the building is dated. The room is actually spacious and well maintained. The location is close to Ikebeuro station. For 5 minutes walk, there are endless cafe and shops to explore.

Rooms were very small. No drawers, no wardrobe and insufficient room to place two suitcases on the floor. Inadequate lifts - and the stairs between floors were alarmed! Breakfast satisfactory buffet style. No lounge nor bar but there is a coffee shop.

The hotel is nicely located in central tokyo. Good jumping point in exploring Tokyo. Hotel is nice with ample size room by japanese standard. The breakfast was acceptable. The staff was superb. However when we were there, there were a lot of group checking out at the same time that the elevators seemed inadequate to handle the volume of clients.

Staying in Ikebukuro

Neighbourhood Profile
Ikebukuro
Ikebukuro is an area of massive development. Several thousand tenants occupy two giant department stores and shopping malls, where all sorts of shopping and gourmet foods can be enjoyed. The 60-story building at the east entrance of the station, Sunshine City, is a landmark within Ikebukuro and features an aquarium, planetarium, theme park as well as an observation platform. The popular name for the western side of this area is "Otome Road" (Maiden Road) and there are many shops selling products related to anime with a female theme. It has rapidly become the worldwide headquarters for ‘otaku’ or geek culture.
