The room is small, double bed, dressing table, one chair, if you're not 6 foot tall, you can put the luggage stand (provided) on the edge on the bed and open the luggage, otherwise you can only open the luggage every time on the bed or on the floor.
Other than that everything in need for the room and toilet.
Breakfast is nice with all different kind of pastries and beverages on the 2nd floor, with grill oven to heat up the pastries.
Staff are friendly and helpful, can store luggage after check out for the whole day.
Upon checkin, they offer a skin care pack and tea packets which is nice add on, also lobby have beverage machines (free) or drink vending machines (need to pay).
On the day when we check out, we store the luggages in front office, it was raining heavily when we pick up the luggage at night and check in to the other nearby hotel, the front office staff were very concern and thoughtful, they advised us the shortcut to the hotel and gave us two umbrellas and told us not to worry to return and use for the rest of our trip, it was really nice.
With this price range, the service is exceptional, good location -shops and eatery nearby, room have everything we need.
Recommended for couples, friends, solo and business travellers.
Not only was the room unsatisfactory and misleading we had cleaning staff enter our room multiple times (4 occasions) without knocking or asking to come in. I have been travelling since I was very young and have NEVER had this happen before. It is completely unprofessional and NOT okay. This also included a male cleaner. What if I was getting changed? What if we had kids with us? Unacceptable.
The staff were friendly but essentially unable to communicate. No view. No space. No restaurant.
The only plus was the closeness to train stations, which lets be honest, its Japan. Everywhere is close to a train station. Would not recommend unless you have no luggage, are by yourself and are staying for 1 night. It is clean, probably because they enter rooms whenever the hell they want.
The location: a short walk from JR Ueno station and feet away from the Tokyo metro Ginza and Hibiya lines. You can’t beat being this central to public transport. Also it’s a 3 minute walk from the Ameyoko market for shopping and delicious eats.
The rooms: standard Japanese style means they are on the smaller size, but still comfortable. It’s a brand new hotel so the rooms are clean and modern. The shower is amazing! Any traveller knows showers are crucial and this one has great water pressure. It is however a little small, my husband is 5ft11 and just fit. Bonus: shampoo, body wash etc provided. Rooms also have fridge (stocked with water daily), kettle for tea, hair dryer etc. And pyjamas to sleep!
The extras: breakfast is included and served daily 630-930 with a variety of pastries. Drinks are also included with breakfast and later between 3pm-midnight and include a variety of hot drinks, soft drinks and juices.
The service: amazing! Staff are friendly, helpful and polite. Upon arrival (in the sweltering July heat) we were given cool towels to refresh our faces with. Loved it!
We loved this hotel so much! We felt right at home. Next time we’re in Tokyo we’ll be back!
Rooms are good for everything but as small as the other Tokyo hotel. Beware of the double room's size as some are bigger and some are smaller.
Breakfast is included but simple and only provide a few kinds of pastries and drinks. I found it was adequate as you must want to leave some room for the yummy japanese cuisine.
Room are bit small but for single traveler is fine and all you need is there. Provided Handy phone is a plus and even TV can connected with your own device to play photo or movies there.
Simple breakfast is included and coffee and tea machine provided on G/F and 2/F till mid night.
Staff are very good and thank you so much for the information and advise during the super typhoon on 12 Oct 2019.
Will be stay there again for my next visit in Tokyo!
Thank you
