Detailed Reviews
This hotel has a lot of things going for it - located just 5 minutes walking distance from the Sensoji Temple, very friendly and service oriented staff who speak and understand good English, and the large and best shower/bathtub room. This room is separate from the toilet/sink area and it’s so large that a guy like me, 6’ 2” could easily move around and have a great shower with good water pressure. Service is with a smile and they provide umbrellas on rainy days. Their breakfast buffet is a bit on the expensive side at $22 and selections are very limited for vegetarians. Rooms are definitely small.

Warm greeting from Hotel Gracery Asakusa. We appreciate your stay at our hotel on your precious trip to Japan this time. And also thank you so much for your sharing your review on Trip advisor. We are so glad to receive such a awesome feedback which is about our staff and location from you. But we sorry for making you feel our room tiny. Our bigger room rather than Double sized bed room is Superior Twin room or Standard Twin room. If you have the chance to come back again in future, please consider to stay at Twin room next time. (We are afraid that if you stayed at Twin room this time, we are sorry for this suggestion.) Thank you for trying our breakfast buffet, and appreciate your sincere opinion. We will continue to make our effort to get one more point from you. Our warm hospitality awaits your return sometime soon. Best regards, Concierge staff OIKAWA

My wife and I made our first trip to Japan for our Honeymoon and this was the first place we stayed during our time there.
It was very easy to find and was only about a 5min walk from Asakusa Metro station.
We arrived slightly earlier than planned and were greeted very warmly by the lady on reception. She spoke extremely good English and despite us being earlier that the check in time, she checked and found our room was already ready for us and we checked in early, which was lovely after a long time spent travelling.
As it was our Honeymoon, they gave us a little surprise and put a note in an envelope for us, with a nice message and also gave us a room on the 13th floor with a great view of the Skytree.
The room was fairly small, but most definitely big enough for the 2 of us to keep our things and most of the time we had both cases open on the floor, for ease of getting out stuff out and there was plenty of room for that.
The toilet had controls in English, so it was easy to work out how to flush and use the other options of cleaning methods.
There was a large bath and a wet room, with complementary shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
The room also had a hairdryer, slippers and clean towels, which were changed daily.
There was a safe in a drawer to the side of the bed, which was handy to store our money and other valuables and it was big enough to store iPads and probably laptops at a push.
The hotel itself was very central and a short walk from a number of entrances to Asakusa station, as well as the gate to the market and very near Sensoji Temple (2min walk).
There are lots of restaurants nearby and also some very handy Family Marts / 7elevens, which were great for grabbing a drink (one of the only places we found Coke Zero) or a quick snack.
We would highly recommend staying here if you happen to travel to Tokyo.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from Asakusa station and close to many of the attractions. The rooms are fine, of moderate size. The hotel has adapted well to the current situation. For breakfast we used the alcohol dispenser before entering the restaurant. Instead of buffet we were served with an amazing number of delicious courses. On the last morning we had to leave early so they had our food ready to eat at 6:30 so we could get away at 6:45. The front desk staff happily answered all our queries and gave us plans where to go to see the sites. They even rang the snow monkey park to check it was open for us. Our thanks to the hotel and staff. We'd certainly come back here.

The room is quite big comparing to other business hotels and I can stretch my legs in the bathtub which is a relief after a day of walking. The price were very competitive if you're looking for a room for small family. Highly recommend.

I travel here with my 5 year old from the uk wow long travel I booked my flight and hotel with dial a flight. From the train station it was like a 5 mins walk and I’m not sure about others but Japan can be so overwhelm so finishing this place I was nervous but once I put it in the Google map and life it found it and showed me where to go. It’s in a perfect location a nice little park for my son in te evening you can chill and it’s like 5 mins all to the centre of everything the temple the shops food whatever you need it’s there. The hotel is in like a area and you have a supermarket right down the road which is great if you need anything now the 7 eleven is on the other side but that a very short walk too. The hotel has it all it has a key so you need that for the elevator and the light in your room. I had a single room for me and my 5 year old yes the room are small but not that small I had two big suitcase and they fit at the side they have Wi-Fi kettle cups tooth brush clothes for bed iron all you need and clean toilets each day we stay for 7 night. Breakfast came with my room and it was amazing they had pancake eggs Japanese’s breakfast and every morning they welcome us my son love the guy at the door all high five and he was so helpful they all was. They have gun snow fork which he loves and he loves the pancake and they cakes. They greet you every morning and evening. It’s a beautiful hotel and the best part was the shower that stand in shower was amazing my 5 year old never wants to come out. The tv is great too on the wall and we watched some movies in the night and outside you can see the sky tree which was amusing cause it huge different colours at night and I would sit and have a cup of tee at the chair and Watch. The hotel is great I had no issue when I do return I would stay here again the staff amazing the room amazing all good for me son. So thank you hotel gracery for a wonderful stay

Just got back from our stay with this hotel and i have to say that it is one of the best hotels that i’ve stayed in. The hotel itself is centrally located, simply within a few minutes walk from the metro stations, shops, restaurants/bars, and the Sensoji Temple, etc. There’s many tourist spots around the area as well that you could simply spend a day there already. The hotel gives you a perfect view of the Tokyo Skytree Tower (20mins walk away) from its rooms, which made our stay even more enjoyable as the view, especially at night, was absolutely beautiful.
The rooms are quite small but i think their double room/bed is more than enough for 2 people, as the space is well used. All the amenities that one would look for is provided in the rooms and the bath that they have in the bathroom is just perfect.
I have to say that the staff were extremely polite, approachable, helpful and friendly.
There’s really nothing that i didn’t like about this hotel as we really enjoyed our stay. Although i don’t think the hotel has a bar or restaurant, which would’ve been nice but it is understandable since it’s surrounded by a lot.
I’ve stayed in quite a lot of hotels and i have to say that i will definitely stay with this hotel/chain again on my next visit to Japan.

Takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the main Asakusa hustle and bustle area. Staff are polite and speak English well. The best part of the room was the toilet. It was like a mini onsen bath house. There was a deep tub and a shower area where you can sit down on a stool and bathe yourself! A modern looking toilet too! What a luxury that we don’t normally get at home (to sit and shower that is) Looked forward to shower time everyday. We had a double bed. Room size was decent for Tokyo standards. But the bed was super hard for me. I took one night to get used to it. Otherwise good hotel.

Very convenient and close to everything. From train station is like less than 5mins walk. The staff very polite and helpful. The room is spotlessly clean with lots of amenities provided and well priced. Some of you may think room a little bit small but come on this is Tokyo and at this price you won't find anything better. We got Tokyo sky tower view room without even ask for it was a surprised. If we have a chance to come to Tokyo again we will come back and stay here for sure. Thank you very much. Arigatou.

Sorry I have no idea
Thank you for your reservation and inquiry about access from Haneda Airport.
We are afraid that no airport limousine bus service is available. However, we can offer these options:
①The best way to our hotel from Haneda Airport is take Keikyu-Kuko Line Rapid-Limited Express (This line would be changed automatically to Keikyu Line and Toei Asakusa Line ) which comes directly to the Asakusa station.
From Toei Asakusa Line: Asakusa Station. 3-5 minutes from Exit [A4] ※Elevator at Exit [A2b]
②The other way is take limousine bus to Asakusa View hotel.
From Asakusa View hotel to Hotel Gracery Asakusa takes 10 minutes by walking or 3 minutes by TAXI.
※We are afraid that we do not have own shuttle bus directly to our hotel from Airport. Sorry about it.
③And last, if you want use taxi it will cost 7,500 yen to 8,000 yen per 1 cab (22:00 ~5:00 : 9500 yen to 11000 yen) without high way cost. And it will take approximately 40 minutes.
If you have further question, do not hesitate to contact us!
We are looking forward to meet you !
Warm greetings from Hotel Gracery Asakusa Concierge Team.
Thank you for choosing our hotel on your trip to Japan!
