Nice small hotel in the middle of the residential area so it’s quiet, lots of convenience stores around and a decent grocery just around the corner. If you want to be in the thick of things, the location is not for you. But it’s close enough to Ueno station, Ameyoko shopping district, Sensoji temple, and Ueno park.
Staying here for 5 nights as we have some activities in the area then we move to another hotel in Tokyo because the family’s coming over for a few more days then off to Osaka. But pretty pleased with our stay here.

very comfy bed, you can leave baggage and walk around while waiting for a check-in time. Free drinking water machine on the first floor. You can put luggage under the bed so it's fit enough for storage while staying. Goooood view from the room also.

It is a nice hotel near metro and Ueno park. The room is a little small, but it is very clean. Wifi is provided for each room, and check in process is easy. It is right next to a 24 hour super market, which is real convenient. If you like to walk, the senso-ji temple is within reasonably walking distance. For the price, cleanliness and convenience, I gave it a 5.

This hotel is located off the main road so was a bit hard to find - even for the taxi driver. There are no cups or glasses-just some paper cups. Small room (as usual) with the bed surrounded by 3 walls which required some acrobatics to get out of for one of us. Friendly service and very clean. No breakfast available.

This hotel is located in a place that is a little hard to understand if it is coming from Ueno station, but if you contact us, the front staff will guide you carefully. In addition, the guest rooms are also made compact, but the beds are large and devised so that customers can use them spaciously. APA Hotel (Ueno Inaricho Ekikita), first of all, staff at reception are friendly and helpful even our team requested to make a cancellation of our booking for 2 nights. Location also close to Ueno Park, Train Station, and shopping area(Ameyoko). TV able to connect with our Iphone and WIFI is great. Just only a room space is tighten.........

This hotel is immaculate. The lobby is beautiful and the staff on the reception are all so incredibly helpful and patient. The rooms are compact, but the amount of amenities make up for this, you definitely don't need anything else. The TV is fantastic, with a mirroring option for your iphone/ipad. WiFi is very fast and easy to set up. The bed was very comfortable and cosy. Within a short walk you have Inaricho station, Ueno station, Ueno Park and Ameyoko. There's a 24 hour supermarket Maruetsu 2 minutes from the hotel, that sell delicious bentos. 7/11s and Family Marts are also a quick walk from the hotel. I'd highly recommend this. It's a wonderful hotel in a beautiful location! We will definitely be coming back

We had a great, comfortable, convenient stay here. The bed was clean and super comfy. Service was good. 10 mins walk from ueno station but very close to inaricho on Ginza line. There is a convenient store just around the corner where we got some meals and beer at very reasonable prices. The hotel is in a very quiet zone but close enough to izakaya places in ueno.
