+ Exellent location right near West exit of Akusabashi JR station. Just show your JR pass and off you are to anywhere in the city. A typical busy business hotel. Well equiped but tiny room, some with view to Tokio Sky Tree. Several supermarkets near. Walking below the tracks towards East Exit of JR Station, choice of small restaurants, some...

We stayed 2 night, the hotel located just 2 minutes walk from west exit JR Asakusabashi Station. From Tokyo station take chuo line and stop at Akihabara and take train to Asakusbashi Great location and the room bigger 14 m2 if compare from mystays osaka conference centre. But mystays osaka conference more modern than here.

Small room but with everything you need. Free wifi was very good. Building layout where the corridors are actually open air is a surprising yet welcome feature. Location is pretty quiet but only a short walk away from the nearest train station.

Very strategic place :) and the hotel Is very clean. More than that the staff are very respectful. Even if the place is a tiny one, as most Japanese hotels, it's still a comfortable place. There are also a lot of great places to eat sorrow ding the place and super near the train station. :)

Strategically located very near the train/subway stations with lots of places to eat all around the area. The room is pretty and very clean and a view of the city is really wonderful. It's a bit pricey but i guess you need to pay more to get a clean and pretty accomodation.

Very basic hotel with beautiful view to Tokyo Skytree. Good location near to Akihabara and Asakusa-bashi MRT station. Hotel was in a quiet area, with a Lawson store on the ground floor. Bathroom cleanliness could be improved, when we took a bath, some dirt and hair came pulping from the drainage to the bathroom floor. Not nice.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and were very happy with our choice. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked well and there was a quick lift to every floor. The staff very friendly. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Nice hotel in a great neighborhood and extremely close to JR Sobu line (one stop away from Akihabara station) which makes getting around Tokyo extremely convenient with your JR rail pass. Good free wired and wireless internet and the room has a fridge. There is a Lawson's down stairs that can be accessed directly from the lobby. The neighborhood, attached...

Spent two nights. Basic accommodation very close to Asakusa-bashi train and Asakusa-bashi subway stations. Former provided a quick link to Tokyo Station, and the latter with a direct subway link to Haneda Airport on limited express. Room a bit bigger than some we have stayed in in Tokyo but was also a bit pricier than other budget hotels. Lots of...

From the moment we got in the experience was less than mediocre. Thank goodness our stay was only $63. The front desk didn't acknowledge us when we walked in the door. Staying in Ueno, Asakusa

Neighbourhood Profile
Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
