Great location, helpful staff, lots of home appliances, but small rooms. We enjoyed staying at this place for one week in the middle of the vibrant neighborhood of Asakusa. Lots of eating places, a nearby market and many pedestrian-only streets.

Love everything here! I am staying here and found that they provide everything you need ( washing machine, microwave, kitchenette, etc.) Room is in modern style. Big refrigerator. Fast wifi router. Good for people who doesn't mind walking as it s quite far from the station

Amazing hotel and staff. i arrived late at night and was made welcome and shown my room. Room was luxurious and spacious. Clean hotel. Nice historical area. I stayed there for a week in the middle of my three week trip to Korea and Japan. Kitchen and washing machine were blessings. Walk-in wardrobe was a good surprise. Tokyo metro system is very good, I did not mind the location. Great value for the price! Definitely I would stay there again.

It took a little while to locate the hotel but we were happy with the unit and location. The room was a bit small to what we were used to but half way through a trip a washing machine is appreciated. It is surrounded by eateries some welcoming English speaking tourists and some not. Smoking in the restaurants was our...

Ideal setup, small apartment rather than a cramped hotel room for the same price in a central location in the city. Can't recommend it more highly. Spacious, clean, new. Has a washer and dryer, fridge, cooking setup, bed is big and comfortable. No reason to stay in a hotel in the similar price range if you can line this up....

Great choice for families. We had a suite with a kitchen, living, separate bedroom and own laundry. We had first stayed in Shibuya and wanted to stay in a different location for a different Tokyo. We found it here. It's a fairly low key, relaxed area with markets close by. Accomodation was faulty new. Maybe 2-3 years old. It was...

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of a 2 week trip to Japan. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely return in the future. We stayed in a Hollywood twin room suite with our 2 children aged 5 and 12 with a huge king sized bed. Booked through the hotels website, contacted the hotel via...

Stayed here for 2 nights with wife, was pleasantly located within everything in Asakusa. Many bars and eateries in the vicinity downstairs so you will never go hungry. Rooms are very clean and there is a washing machine/dryer combination for you to wash your clothes. Bed was comfortable. Smoking rooms available.

Staying in Ueno, Asakusa

Neighbourhood Profile
Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
