Walking distance from Sensoji Temple, with lots of restaurants and stores around the area. Our room was very good, sleep quality was very good as well. Breakfast was always filling and delicious. The staff was very attentive and very nice. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Tokyo.

Located near Asakusa Station (Toei) 7-10 min by foot and 2-3 min from Sensoji Temple. Room was small but fit for use and bed is excellent. Nice service. Breakfast was great too. I'm highly recommend for everyone.

Nice staff, efficient check-in, simplistic design- The breakfast is free to all customers but don't expect it to be some bread and milk. You will get a wide variety of japanese cuisine, espcially good for people who prefer to have warm food in the morning. The triple room I stayed in consists of a single bed and a bunk bed....

Hotel was great. Delicious breakfast everyday. Laundry service was provided with only 100yen. Everything was nice. This hotel was connected with Ginza Line (metro) and Asakusa Line (Toei). Nearest subway station will be metro, about 5-10minutes walk. As for Asakusa Line, it bit far than metro, around 10-15 minutes walk. Lot of shops and restaurants around this area.

Asakusa station is very near. There is Senso-ji temple almost in the backyard of the hotel. Temple is beautiful in the evening. Hotel room was clean and nice. You can wash your clothes and use dryer in laundryroom. It was easy to explore Tokyo because station was so near at the hotel.

Location: The hotel is at a superb location. The hotel is located near Asakusa Shrine. The shrine is somewhere tourists should visit. You could travel easily just by walking 10 minutes to Asakusa Station too. Also, there is a ramen shop near the hotel that sells tasty ramen too. There are lots of convenience stores around that area, do not...

We stayed at Super Hotel for one week in October and found everything well apportioned, exceptionally clean, and comfortable. The location is wonderful, a short walk to the Asukusa Station, restaurants, sightseeing, everything. The staff are also exceptionally helpful and exhibit the best in Japanese hospitality. Good value considering the location and amenities. Oh, the breakfast (included) is also super!

Staying in Ueno, Asakusa

Neighbourhood Profile
Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
